As a quick guide how the camera system works. (It is based on Morgoth's Minas Tirith map and t4a mod with some changes.

If you notice in YodaWarrior's screens there are 3 powers with the "WIP" image. (They hopefully will have something for the release.) These three control your camera angle. There are three views:

1) General's View - Basically almost identical the normal default view for BFME. Clicking on this is similar to double-clicking your middle mouse button without changing the rotation of the camera.

2) Commander's View - This is a half-way point between the 2 that I added. This gives you the option of tilting the camera a little to give you a broader range of view. If your computer does not lag I think this can be very useful.

3) Unit's View - This is the close-up, near-first person view. It's used to jump in there next to you units to feel as if your fighting along side them. (Great for Screenshots).

It's very easy to use, I think and allows near-unlimited flexibility on how to view the game. As a note, the Unit's view will give lag on even the highest of computers at Ultra High in the middle of a battle.

i was playing on medium-highish (custom settings) and the only time I ever got lag in when I'm changing to unit view right before the sky comes into view. it only lasts like 1-2 seconds though. I just played a game with dwarves vs isen and ill upload them in a bit.

Do you see behind fog of war in first person view? If yes, then this should be corrected.

The fog of war still exists as you see in now. Many of the "darker" screenshots especially in Belfalas were taken in the Fog and thus still remain dark.

like any other battles, you can still see the terrain, which is what most of the belfalas pictures were of.

All right, yesterday I played a game against easy 60% handicap AI (aye, I just wanted to make good screenies) on max detail. Gobbo's vs. Gondor.

The game started, I started of with 1 horde of Gobbo's

That must've hurt...

The gate breached? No, opened by a silly AI :)

That was it. Next time I'm taking some screenies of Isen & Evil Men.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Great Screenshots!

So far the low amount of lag seems very promising. I know on one of my laptops I can barely play even on very low settings at 800x600, and it gives just a little more lag than normal, except on the epic battles.

Yup, I got everything running on Ultra High and the new camera system works lagless. Although, I can also check it on my other pc (which is a *little* bit older) and see how it runs on that.

A quick note of correction: those Gondor Spearmen you have credited Argolis with are a joint effort between myself and him. I did the unit skin and modified a CAH skin for the shield, he fixed the mapping on the model, rebound it, and made the spear (or maybe the spear was left around from when Anarion was on the WOA team). Anyway, it's just a small misunderstanding I wanted to clear up  .
