Change name of heroes? Why? ^

Is there anyway like we can make the Gorgoroth Spire be like a scouting tool? It is Meant for the eye to see all.. so I was thinking we can make it so like you can use the eye to scout for a while or something? What do you guys think?

Sûl has done something like that for the Eye of Sauron spell in the Spell Book. And it has full AI... You'll love it. (Using the fortress eye won't work logically since you can have several fortresses).

Change the DisplayName in the hero's Object file(s) ('Blackrider_SEE.ini, Fellbeast_SEE.ini) to a new string, which you define in 'lotr.str'. Every single Nazgul/Fellbeast has a ChildObject, so just put in a new line with the DisplayName inside every ChildObject.

Ok, someone probably already suggested this before but:

Maybe adding in some of the witch king's voice over from the movies. like:
"this is my hour!"
or something like that.

You know, Razor, maybe a better tone of yours would be suited. Don't demand things if you don't even know what you're asking for. These guys do a great job and they do it for free, so don't scream or demand imediately, ok?

Maybe a one more elite-unit , and I think about Mordor Orcs 2nd age(spelling?) veterans . With armory upgrades like the Noldor Warriors.

What are you takling about? I really thankfull to them for givin me a time and telling me how to change the names. If I don't understand, it is my problem, but they told me how to do this shit and I really thankfull for it. And if you don't understand my posts, you should read them slowly and twice :lol:

Man... you are genius :crazed: And, for example, if I will build five fortresses there should be five great Eyes and five Saurons, right?

Okay , got me :crazed: Remove "The great eye" . :p Maybe only in a new Mordor map. Becouse in Minas Tirith,Minas Morgul etc etc you can´t build more fotresses. Only in a map like that the Barad Dur fotress will be there.

I have seen this suggestion but I don´t remember where in the forums . Add Melkor(Morgoth) but hes maybe be to strong =/ I have read all about Melkor in wikipedia and he was much stronger then Sauron . But think Sauron and Melkor walking again . But if hes so strong he must be expensive and I mean expensive =) Like 50 000 . And he will take a long time to "train" , "create" or you whatever call it =)
EDIT : WK in the Extended version of ROTK when hes about to kill Gandalf .Hes saying "This is my hour" and he gets his burning sword,and when he does that Gandalf staff brokes. I can have wrong but WK have both "Flameing Sword" and "WK hour" and those powers is only one . Have i right ?

Let me start this by saying that this mod is Almost everything I ever wanted to do with this game, but never knew how. I am learning though. Great job!

Here is my suggestion. I read you were going to implement RotWK, be it for a Men of the East faction and more resources, or what not. I love trolls! I never liked the models used in the game though. The models used for snow and hill trolls are awesome minus the heads. I wanted to take the Snow troll model and convert it to Mountain troll, and the hill troll converted to the cave troll. Like I said, some work would need to be done to the heads and feet. But these models are so much better.

Another thing that I liked from BfME 1 was the fact that trolls started with no armor, but upon leveling received this. I loved this! If only cosmetic, but cool none the less. I wanted to make the models random like the orcs. Some trolls would start with the leather helmet, some would start with just a top knot and so on. Upon leveling some would receive the attack troll helm, shoulders and a chest plate. Another might receive just a chest plate and the helm used by the trolls moving siege towers along with gauntlets. weapons could be random also. Any one from the create a hero would work. Again only cosmetic but cool!

I also had an idea about an attack they could receive upon level 5. A troll would grip its weapon in both hands and charge an enemy like a bulldozer. I also wanted to make a toggle between weapon and hand. This also bothered me that once a troll picked up a tree that was it. That was all it could do. Thanks for listening. Looking forward to the future of this mod. And who knows maybe with the announcement about "The Hobbit" movies, EA will let you guys make the next installment of this series :p

OR you can only have it on one fortress at a time. I don't tend to build 5 fortresses anyway. If the great eye could only go on the first fortress that would be cool too, if you lose your first fortress then no eye for you. Mordor is strong as hell anyway.

It has been decided that SEE will not be converted over to Rise of the Witch-king, but some units and spells will be used from said game.

Been playing against the AI a lot and noticed that the WK hardly ever goes to ground and fights on foot. It would be nice once and while to face off with the WK on the ground and not just shoot him out of the sky all the time.

Also, would like to suggest renaming Attack Trolls as Olog Hai, if not already done.

I think there's been a suggestion about the witch king like: when he gets down to some preset hp, he goes to the ground. At least I think that was a suggestion that was made, and I do think that Sul would actually be able to do that. :p

Whoah, I have a idea, what if when the Wk is in the air and gets shot until said preset hp, then the fellbeast has a dying animation and the WK rises off the body, and he cant mount until you buy another fellbeast :p

That one might be a little harder to do. But then again I've been suprised with what the S.E.E. team have been able to do so far. :p
