So the campaign will not be in Beta V? :( If is not we still be waiting for a great new version ( :p

Beta V... with campaign? Come on.... There's tons of other stuff... you would have to choose between checking it out, or playing the campaing! There's so much!! :p

Hard to say when the Campaign will be in SEE, but the plan is for Beta V. But since it's a huge work load and very much dependent on help from others like Robnkarla, we'll see...

Lovely progress on the map though Merccy :)

Hi Fans and Players...

First: S.E.E. is a SKIRMISH mod ONLY! (So far!)

I have some GREAT news for you!
As (most of?) you know, and like stated above ^, S.E.E. has been a SKIRMISH mod ONLY, from the start :thumbsupsmiley:
This was due to me starting this mod as a personal minimod of "Marks FullGamePLay Mod 1.04b" that was not campaign compatible. But you already know that, so I'm not gonna ramble about that again... :rolleyes:

What you do NOT know is that SEE's Mod Ally, the mod RJ-RotWK's leader Robnkarla has stepped in and located the problem... This was posted by me in Support section just minutes ago, in reply to a Player asking about the non running Campaign mode...

It is (sorta) fixed for 4.5! I can't guarantee that the whole campaign will run though, but this will be thuroughly tested in the next Private Beta. So far BOTH campaigns DO start and I even completed the first mission and started the next for Good, and it worked so far... *hugging Rob*

So what is next?
1) Make sure the whole BFME2 Campaign mode runs for both Good and Evil...
2) Eventually, (and hopefully) write a new Campaign for S.E.E... (For Beta V)

The whole campaigne will not run, but it it crashes in one mission, go to your normal bfme 2 complete it with out SEE then get back to SEE in the next mission. That is how you play the whole campaigne.

You can't play the campaign until we do the campagn. Right now it's just a fluke if it runs basically...

If you're looking for Campaign play, I'd recommende our mod-ally; RJ-RotWK

The campaign won't be worked on until everything else is finished. It's rather logical really, as it's a BIG task in its self. I want all factions, all units, all heroe, all powers in game and working before we venture into that project. This is the only way to do it 100% :facepalm:

The (good) Campaign will follow the movies too, in greatest possible extent. But this won't be worked on until the skirmish mod is done

Hey,
do you still want someone to code a campaign? If you do, I'd love to help with this awesome mod. I'll start working on a mission to show you what I can do, if you want me to. I don't have much experience, but I think I'm quite talented (or at least the codes for the current missions look like a piece of cake to me), and I want to do some more serious stuff anyway.

If you want to work on something to show Nazgul when he gets back so he can see for himself what level your on, that would probably be the best way to go. :xd:

My dream campaign for bfme2 would be the bfme1 campaign with the added armies of Gloin and glofindel or the dragon added to the various armies you can choose from on the world map. But I'm not sure how likely that is to do ( probably just a dream :grin: )
No chance of returning....Zero chance of surviving....Well!? When do we get started?

I don't have BFME 1, so I don't know if I can make any BFME 1-like missions. But I saw a few ideas for an evil campaign in that thread Nazgul linked to just above my post, so I think I'll start out with one of those on an EA-made map. I'll just start with the first mission on that list (scouring of the shire), I already have a few ideas for that one.

I ran into a major problem: WB can't use SEE units. I've read somewhere that you're going to release it as a .BIG file, but that's probably gonna take a while, isn't it? I'll just make a vanilla BFME 2 version, I can probably convert it to SEE later on.

FYI, it's going terribly slow, because my pc is lagging like hell when I use worldbuilder, worse than ever. And I'm getting pissed of. I won't finish my mission, and I won't try to make any others untill I get a better PC.

you guys should make the campaign not like the 1st bfme but better,like more missions,better cutscenes.put some missions that could be about something else like something that you do lead to this scene in the movie.travel all middleearth.stuff like that,EPIC

They are gonna do a campaign but it's a slow progess and lot of work involved.. So don't worry it will come when the time is right.
