And change Elves to the Jerusalem Army and men to saladins army.
And then just reskin the units to look more oldish style and make the elves cloths less elegant and make the new heroes and make sand maps.

Yeah all you do is delete isengard, mordor, dwarves and goblins.
And change Elves to the Jerusalem Army and men to saladins army.

Just an idea, but I think 'I, Robot' would be cool. (Based on the Will Smith movie.)
I hate that movie. Asimov must be turning in his grave as it totally goes against the grain of what all the damn books were about...

Men of the east (evil- harad, fhun, and umbar)
Men of the north (good- duneain and dale).
ALl these factions would require would be new buildings, and a few new units. :

My mod's name: ROTWK - Platinum Edition.
Basically, my aim is to add a couple of new units, skin a few current in-game units to make them look better and redo most of the maps in the game so they are more realistic and more like those shown in the LOTR films. Also I want to add a seperate ring hero for each faction, change the names of factions and make all units in all factions and everything else look as it would have done during the War of Angmar and Arnor (which is where the skinning comes in). At the moment my biggest problem preventing me from getting anywhere near past the stage I'm at is about how I can actually wade through all the blasted INI files in order to just find what I want to edit Also a big aim of mine is to change the AI of enemy factions in Skirmish mode so that it stops just running in and killing your rescource structures everytime you play and stops just ingnoring your units when you attack them... I just want an AI that puts all it's efforts into building up it's base to stop it getting destroyed and focuses all it's attentions on destroying your units before it even attempts to try and destroy your fortress. It would just make the game more fun to play, I think.
Also I've taken out EA's whole idea of 'hero units' (Deathbringers, Knights of Dol Amroth etc) and I've decided to power them down a bit so that they're more like normal units. I've also made my own unique idea of a Captain system, which involves the purchasing of heroes and captains from a regular Barracks or Orc Pit, for a cost and at a certain level. They also do special things to allied units. Spellbooks are going to be re-revised as well, especially as I'm going to put the Goblin faction into Isengard if I work out how.
Another idea I have is about only siege weapons being able to destroy your fortress or your walls to add realism, while normal units can still destroy normal buildings and units. It makes the siege weapons seem more important, really, and more of a threat to you when you see them trundling towards your perfectly built fortress that has taken you so long to complete! It also stops random units from running up to your fortress's walls and hitting them continuously until they are destroyed and gaining access to your fortress and your buildings, which is one of the most rubbish ideas EA ever came up with
Also the idea involves only siege weapons and monsters such as Mountain Giants and Trolls being able to destroy your gates, as I hated the fact that normal units could just do that as it was so unrealistic.
All my new units are based from models found in Worldbuilder that were unused by EA, so there's no extra model-making involved. Most of these units are also fully functional as it is, so it's just a case of putting them into factions so that they can be used in the game. There will be some units that are made using CaH but that's not really a big focus of mine as I need to learn about how to do it first
I'll make a topic for it on these forums so If anyone wants to ask any questions or catch up on what I'm doing in the mod they can go see about it there.
