The Balrog in Moria had loads of names, an elvish an dwarfish; gandalf's name for him and what the hobbits came to know him as. Tolkein seemed to like giving creatures loads of names. Gandalf the grey... the grey pilgrim... mithranduil... etc

I like most of the ideas except from all of the spider riders coming back, I think there are too many spider units and I doubt that spiders could be tamed and used. I think that you should remove most things which are spider related and keep a few limited spider units.

Goblin king is a really nice idea, I don't like the mount on the fire drake though, its over the top, maybe give him a wolf or a warg to mount and it will be perfect (altho I think that the great goblin, azog and the other heroes are enough, and I don't like his name for some reason, the whole idea of a goblin king is a twist of lore by EA, goblins did have leaders and chieftains, but a king?)

The spider units make sense to be in moria. Some of the units are made up, based on lord of the rings lose. As for mounting a firedrake, I don't think it's over the top. Nearly all creatures in middle earth could be rided; lets take fellbeasts, eagles, wargs etc. Spiders and drakes are no different.

I do however agree that the idea of a "Goblin King", is bending lore a lot, as I can't ever recall a goblin king being mentioned. None the less he fits into the game which is what's most important. Plus the Spider Rider model is very nice, and would be a shame not to use it ;) .

As for having too many heroes, there are 8 now which is the right amount. I said to MorrisB I'd stick in Greymane and replace him from Isengard; but I'm not 100% sure how he fits until I play the new Beta when it's released.

Units can always be cut - but for now, until I at least come up with 25 units, it's important to keep the one's I've got :shiftee:

I agree Goblin King doesn't seem right. How about Goblin Shaman? He would be a spiritual healer and offensive hero, with great scope for ideas:
Name: Goblin Shaman
Cost:3000
Powers:
x Level 1= Spirit Blast- passive, attacks knock 3-5 units over
x Level 2= Root Lore- heal in an area
x Level 4= Mount- mount wolf/warg (?)
x Level 6= Will o' Wisp- like fireball
x Level 10= Dire Summoning- summon 5 wraiths

Imo shamans shouldnt come in hordes :p They could be single units instead.
Sorry, just took a look at the list and you put them single units already. Nice ideas on the powers :xcahik_:

oops lol my bad :xd: I like the power ideas, except the main attack. Shamans are really spirit-contacters/healers (or anti-). Small pushback wave would be more appropiate, wouldn't it? :p

Yeh it does make sense; but I wanted them to be ranged tbh. If you can think of another a projectile I'm open to suggestions :)

Some green/icey blue projectile ball. Maybe a lightning rod, small lightning strikes?

Puppeteer, I can teach you to model if you want, just let me know what you need to know and I can help you (on MSN maybe?)...
