ANYWHO. I have this feeling that patrick's going to last all the way into the end of the series. Maybe even into the next one. I also see that he's going to remain the series comic relief and display no true ace skills what so-ever. Especially when hm...what was it? twelve new aces from union and one from AEU, assuming that colonel woman is one.
Shit i laughed so much when patrick got slugged. Twice.

This episode has proven to me that this show is crap and the FMA director has gone off the deep end.
This episode was one of the dumbest pieces of shit, I've ever seen.
The invulnerability of these gundams is retarded, they can survive constant artillery, sniping and missile attacks for 15 hours from nearly 1000 mobile suits and only have a few scratches? Then why dodge a linear rifle when you can take the shots with no damage and get close enough to kill someone?
And yea, total fucking aces sent by Union eh? "ZOMG HE TRANSFORMED IN MID AIR?!?!?!?!?!?!" the fuck? and that Joshua guy, he died so quickly, honestly, why play someone up to be an ace just to get him killed like that? he's arrogant but he's an ace, he should've known better.
see, y'all crap on Patrick, but did he die? nooo, he outmanuevered fat gundam, dodged it's bazooka beam of death at very close range and slapped that bitch verbally.
also, that had to be one of the most uninspired and boring battles I have ever seen, 15 hours of standing still and getting shot, yea, really exciting.
BLEH! Why even bother with the mobile armor? it died like 10 seconds after it was introduced.
so yes, this show is still as retarded as fuck and I hope it fails terribly.
Edit: By any chance was Joshua voiced by T.M. Revolution?
Edit #2 which was actually edited in at the same time as the first one: If you don't get that joke, I hate you.

well Patric was so far the only one to have gotten shot by the beam and evaded the first time around, also, at close range it's much easier to dodge weapons meant for longer ranges. case and point, sniper ve pistol in close range, unless the other person is pinned down or the sniper got very lucky, he's gonna get shafted.

Joshua, typically overconfident, probably used to a situation where he can overpower opponents. But i admit that was quite stupid.
Patrick? ah well...patrick...i have a slightlybetter opinion of him now, but i recall grunts have avoided the beam before without trouble, i direct attention to the nadleeh episode.

I dunno, I dont think he'd voice for any characters without him actually getting a song in that series.

You didn't get the joke...
and honestly Rav, don't bring realism into the subject.
remember than we're watching a show about giant robots who can fly, use beam weapons, have impenetrable armor that can withstand fifteen hours of sniper attacks, can make shields and was all made by a private militia group. Realism flew out the window long ago.
this "stand around and get shot" isn't enjoyable, it's boring.
as bad as Destiny was, it had some damn enjoyable battles.

I didnt see them standing around being invulnerable, i saw them standing around getting worn down psychologically.
I liked these alot better than the destroy battles. In the destroy battles i saw worse. I saw some 18 year old angsty kid avoiding giant beam cannons with his supposed skill and two other blockheads, one being a clone of a clone and another a girl who dosent have her head screwed on straight cuse she she falls in love with her sister's killer, also easily massacring 5 destroys and probably a good number of MS, and act as if its all in a days work, meaning they're not even TRYING...and there's that funny orchestral music that only managed to convince me of the show's own desperate attempt to get me to like the main character more. Which i didnt.
Ah...whatever. By the end of the series we'll probably have gundam vs gundam fights, wont we? Probably one-hit your dead battles. If anything, i dont like the new gundams. they're too obviously 'evil'. It makes things a little too simple. You noe, the dark beams, red GN particles...wtf...

Damnit, but at least TMR usually get a bit more character developement before dying, and a few more lines.
True about the Destroy battles, seriously, weapons that are supposed to be so powerful die so easily it's a waste lol.

Ok, throwing out realism, i tot it was pretty good. I'll try not to point out this private military group had 200 years of time and a clump of so and so prominent scientists who disapeared in those years....Ooops...i did...

you didn't see them being invulnerable? excuse me, but what battle were you watching?
I clearly recall them getting hit with a stupendous amount of munitions and coming out with only a few dings, I wasn't talking about the psychology of it as it would suck to be hit with munitions for 15 hours straight, I was talking how bullshit it was that their mechs can actually withstand that with only a few dings.
and to be frank, I don't care how long CB has to make these, the fact that the military, with a lot more funds and scientists, can't make anything close, yet some underground group creates a lot of gundams which are basically immortal.
now, I didn't mean that the ENTIRE battle sucked, but most of it did, some parts were sw00t, like when the super girl rammed alleguah and sped off, joshua dieing and graham taking down lockon and patrick totally outmaneuvering virture and capturing him, those were good, and the beginning.
but for a lot of it they just stood there... it was boring.

Hmm...if you put it that way, then yes i agree with you. Standing around IS quite boring, i just meant the whole ep wasn't crap like your first post made it out to be.
