Hmm, in that case let's bring up a paralle universe, Full Metal Panic.

Same concept, although their mechs are far from invulnerable, well other than the Arbalist, they are much more numerous, their tech is still way ahead of the other nations, even the rest of the world.

They are mercenary in the fact that its members are hred for money, but their operations are purely decided by themselfs, as no one actually hires them to do anything, Mithril are also an idealistic group who had completed missions to stop terrorism as well as the protection of Black Technology.


How long has it been since you've watched FMP that you've forgotten their idealology already? lol

Cuse i love it. And id like to point out that your 360 list has alot of cross-platformers, not real 360 games.

But god, did they have to make things more complicated. For example, soul calibur 4 has yoda for 360 and vader for ps3.

if so, then it should be pointed out that infinite's list is manly cross console games as well.

and the xbox has the best exclusive/with pc series.

The fact is when you look at multi-platform games, the xbox version has always been the best version, in both looks and stability.

Sony shot themselves in the foot with the Cell processor, piece of shit.

anyway, the PS3 is selling so poorly over here, Harvey Norman are giving them away for free with every purchase of a tv.

Actually PS3 is the Vastly superior system I beleive the failure rate for PS3 is in the 0.5% area as oposed to 360's 10-15%. And now thanks to the PS3 I also have a blueray player for a fraction of the cost of an actual BR player. The cell processer is powerful but the problem is that codeing for multi-processors is different then single processors, and most game developers are daunted by the challenge of the codeing. The games that do come out that are PS3 exclusive (Uncharted, Heavenly Sword) are still considered to be the best looking games too date. That and my favorite thing being that Playstation Network is a free system..... and is not feeding the Microsoft Monster.

The problem with the PS3 atm (which I totaly agree with you) is the weak game lineup. However this will be less of a fact by the end of next year when PS3 will pass 360 in game content. Not to mention that I just found out about Uncharted 2 !!!!! Woot!!!!

but let's be frank Fin, failure rate has almost nothing \to do with system specs.

the only reason so many xbox's have died (inmcluding mine, 2 weeks of a brand new halo 3 being left unopened, scary shit.) is because of faulty solder stuff.

and the only reason Uncharted and Heavenly Sword look good on PS3 is that those are the type of games the PS3 is made for, nothing that open, quite linear games.

like i've said, you compare many of the xbox/ps3 cross platform titles and you'll see that in every case, the xbox ones have come out on top.

- Orange Box: Same as above, the 360 version looked better and was stable, the PS3 version had a lot of framerate issues.

and seriously dude, Blu-Ray is not used at all in the industry to warrant me going out and shelving off 700 bucks for a PS3.

If you want linear games like uncharted and heavenly sword, the PS3 does that ok, but if you want good open ended games, games which can pack a visual punch but allow you to actually see a lot more of it, the xbox wins.

we'd have GTa already if it wasn't for the PS3 >_<

oh, and in comparison to my pc, all the consoles are pieces of shit and crysis is the best looking game eva! looks great on max settings.

Oh really, if you set the PS3's settings to Full(unlike what Game Trailers did) then you would plainly see that there is no difference.

That's cause Valve didn't want to do the PS3 version and got EA to do it for them and they didn't do a very good job at it. If Valve didn't slack off and took the time and hard work on the PS3 version like they did with the 360 and PC version, then there would be no difference.
