I began playing SEE a few weeks ago. Fantastic mod!
The additions and changes make the game even more enjoyable.
Cheers to all those involved in the making.

Can I just say to Naz that this is the best mod I've ever seen for BMFE II, and indeed for any of the games that I play. I hated BFME II and thought it was a real cop out. An utter waste of my money and time. But this is really cool and everything I ever wanted the game to be (and more!)
I'm currently trying to install the mod as I type... just downloading patch 1.06, then I've got to follow all the instructions (shouldn't be too hard) to install!
Q: Why did the hedgehog cross the road?
A: It was stapled to the chicken.
What does this joke mean?
It means that sometimes you are forced into doing things that you don't want to.
Don't staple yourself to those who you think are better then you, be yourself, and love it.

Why can't I install SEE?
I installed the patch...
I put the SEE folder in the correct place...
Changed the target, start box etc...
Clicked on it...
Error message with such severity that the game has to close...
And game.dat encounters an error and needs to close. They're sorry for my inconvinience...
Liars.
*Sigh*... anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

Hey everyone, I'm new here as well (this is my first post! )

THANK YOU! That is exactly my goal with this mod.. to do what EA didn't. However, I'm greatful that EA let us modders mod their games
On the other issue, Jonasking is right... Go to support forums and post there

I'm new to Revora forums and have only recently found out about this wonderful mod.
I originally joined T3A due to the fact that I wanted to make my own mod for BFME II, however upon finding SEE I realised that it had everything in it that I'd wanted to add into my own mod and much, much more... it has now become my most faveroute all-time game/mod! I, possibly like many others, was not satisfied with the original BFME II game nor it's expansion The Rise of the Witch King and aimed to make it more balanced and fun to play. I have now been presented with a masterpiece well beyond my wildest dreams and expectations and all I can do is stand stunned and congratulate you all for your wonderful work!
To the end of no longer desiring to make a mod of my own I would like to ask if I may have the honor of joining SEE's modding team and to help in any way possible to make this mod (impossibly) better then it even is. If it's of any use, my current skills are:
Mapping - which I love! I have made many maps, including my three faves: an accurate representation of Smaug's Lair and Goblin Gate as described in Tolkien's The Hobbit and an accurate fully-functional version of it's massive end battle, the Battle of Five Armies!
and
Coding - which I am learning to do, I consider myself at beginner-intermediate level. I have experience in running and scripting my own computer games and have been exploring the BFME II and ROTWK .big files for a long time and learning my way around them.
I also want to learn how to model as soon as my exams are over in three weeks time, from which point I'll be entering the Christmas holidays until I move on to study Theology in University next summer and will have all the time in the universe to help everyone here out. I am perfectly prepared to learn new things in modding the BFME games, and enjoy doing so, and I'm hoping that working in a fully-fledged modding team will help my skills progress even further!
To Nazgul: If you want me to apply in another part of the forums please inform me on this as I don't want to clog up topics with things that don't need to be here! If there is nowhere available for me to post then I can send you a PM; however I expect that you get enough of those as it is from other modders on the SEE team and those of the public who are requesting yet another set of installation instructions from you (I had no problems myself, your instructions in the PDF were clear as filtered water!) and so you might be a bit full! If this is an inconvinient time for me to applicate, as well, then I apolagize in advance and will remain a posting member in these parts until a window is open for me at a later date.
Once again a big well done and thank you to everyone on the team and in the posting team for all the suggestions and work that you've done on this marvelous mod!

Now, if you want to help out with mapping or something, that would also be pretty cool. We've got a couple of mappers and modelers on the S.E.E. team (just wait until you see ttandchotmail's Meduseld!). I'm sure Nazgul would be much more willing to have you on the team on those fronts! You should send him a good example of one of your maps! That would definitely make him much more willing! Also, if you're good at scripting maps, we've been looking for someone to start a S.E.E. campaign for some time!
Also, post your "resume", i guess you can call it, in the "Looking for Crew" section of this forum!

'ello Ithilienranger732! Nice to have someone else around who's new as well!'ello. I suppose I should have introduced m'self earlier. I'm IRS, an idea guy for Wars of Arda. I'm sort of new here, but I've been on WoA a lot. So... that's all, I suppose.
G'day ttandchotmail! I was brought up on that old saying, the more the merrier and a hundred heads are better then one!G'day Sgt. Angel
Welcome to the forum. As the old saying goes the more the merrier
Yeah, I can imagine I'd have to be at a pretty advanced coding level to help out on this mod because of it's high quality, and I imagine that all the people working on the modding team here are rather more advanced then me in their skills... (I'm guessing you and ttandc are part of the team as well, zachdaddy?)... I'm still in the process of devotedly learning how to code at a more advanced level at the moment, so I think I'll wait and when I reach a high enough skill level then I'll re-apply for the position, if it's still open .Okay, Sgt. Angel. I don't know if you'd be ready to help Nazgul with this mod, as it's coding has been way advanced for a very long time. As always, it'd be nice to have someone help Nazgul code this mod, since he's been pretty busy of late, but you're skills would have to be pretty high to really understand the coding behind it.
Wow... if he was severely dissapointed with someone that already had advanced coding levels and all then I don't really think I stand any chance of applying for any coding positions for a while... I'll do what you say and give him some patience, I don't mind if I'm not doing any coding at all I just wanted to see if I could help out a little bit and ease the workload for everyone! And Nazgul gave someone with some coding skills a position on the team, but then was severly dissapointed and regretted puting him on the team. So, he may quite reluctant to have you on the team. But if you really want to help him out, you'll just have to give him some patience. Just be sure that this is something you really, really want to commit yourself to, because it takes a hell of a lot of commitment to come up with something as great as S.E.E.
As to being devoted... who wouldn't be for this awesome mod? Anyway, considering I wanted to go and start my own mod at first (which takes a lot of time as well!) I think I'm perfectly prepared to take the time out to devote myself to SEE!
Sure thing! I love mapping, I get quite a joy out of doing it, it's my faveroute pastime. I am a very 'detail accurate' person... if it says it's something in the books then I do it to the letter, if it's something in the films then I make a direct copy down to the placement of every leaf and bird and if it's in the books and the movies then I take influences from both. I'm not really a creative liscence sort of person myself, I prefer to do things to the lore or not at all! (But then again that's because I'm a Tolkein nerd who's read every book played every game and watched all the films a billion and a half times (literally) so there's no point me denying it... Tolkein's cool anyway ) I would love to see Meduseld, thanks ttandc! I'm just learning to model now so I'll apply for a job in mapping and then in modelling later when I get to the tutorials on T3A marked 'advanced' (I'm on 'intermediate' at the mo). I'd be glad to help out on those fronts! I'll send Nazgul the Battle of Five Armies (my utter masterpiece, pride and joy of all my years in mapping since BFME 1!) and see if that's the kind of the standard he's looking for! Also, if you're good at scripting maps, we've been looking for someone to start a S.E.E. campaign for some time!
As for scripting maps, I must be the only person who finds it easy! Everyone's always going 'why is this happening?' and 'I can't do this!' and I'm like whaaaat that's so easy?!?... as to scripting the campaign, I'll ask if I can help out with that if there's any positions open, I'd be really happy to help the team out with it!
Thank you, I'll do so right away! Also, post your "resume", i guess you can call it, in the "Looking for Crew" section of this forum!
As I'm sure everyone's guessed I'm not looking to start my own mod anymore as SEE has everything I ever wanted to put into any mod of mine and more so I'm sticking with it! I'm now it's... uh... number (put number of people working on the mod currently +1 here) fan!
Thanks everyone for welcoming me and all it's very nice of you. I'm glad to be a member of such friendly forums, I kinda half expected everyone to ignore me or something 'cause I was new!
Sgt. Angel
edit: sorry for making a post this large when I've only just joined here, I'm not making a very good first impression... I just wanted to say thanks to everyone and reply to all the stuff that zachdaddy, ithilienranger and ttandc had written without having to do it over a billion different posts!

I appreciate you all showing interest. Just bring some kind of credentials of previous work, and I'll hire you if you're good enough. Just a reminder of what I need...
- CODER: everything else is very low prio. I need a Coder of higher skills than me. I'm above average, but far from elite such as Sûlherokhh and Robnkarla. That's why it's probably gonna be very hard to join SEE as a Coder. I need very high skill levels =/
