Wow those look amazing. Just look at the helmet and you wouldn't think this is actually bfme 2.

One thing that i noticed though was that the swords are maybe a bit to broad, but that could just be because of the perspective.

Holy sanctified mother of CRUD... THIS is what is so FANTASTIC about this mod - less focus on ADDING and more on IMPROVING ^^

My fav faction, no duh, is the MOTW (explaining my rants on keeping Rohan/Gondor combined) and I can't WAIT to see the new release with them all souped up and such ^^

The Dark is patient...

The Dark is generous...

And it always wins...

But in the heart of its power lies weakness...

It takes but a single candle to hold it back...

Love is more then a candle...

Love can ignite the stars.

Pretty skins... so realistic... almost RA-like.
I'm creeping, not gone.

I think the Uruks are very LotR-like. But it seems to be it´s only EA´s work (CaH). So I´m not convinced to say awesome or sth. similar.

EA's work with lite reskinning and rebinding and a normal map added to make it look realer but who counts that :p I'm just glad EA got something right and it's useable :p

Hey guys, I have to say this mod is amazing. Just came back to play BFMEII yestersday, and found this mod. Been playing 4.5 today and I love it. Can't wait for 4.7 :thumbsupsmiley:

Here are some of my problems:

- I was playing the Helms Deep map, just like on the first BFME. Trying to re-create the movie battle, however, it is rather annoying when you have Nazgul's flying around. Just takes away the movie realism a bit.
- Also, is it possible for you to add an 'inn' within Helms Deep that allows for the construction of Lothorien Elves, that actually helped in that battle. You should also be able to get Legolas, Gimli and Haldir for this map.
- One more thing, players should be able to choose whatever CP limit they want, if it's possible. Because 1000CP just seems so low for an 'epic' lotr battle.

Other than minor annoyances. I love this mod. Great Work!

well I think in the movie it was referenced as there having been something like 300 men vs 10,000 uruks, so if anything the cp is probably a bit too high on the side of the human player and too low on the side of the evil. However an addition of perhaps a limited supply of elves might be fun but I reckon that's more of a campaign issue than a skirmish issue.

You can actually change the cp count up to 20,000 I think. When on the skirmish screen there is an options tab where you adjust a few settings like the cp limit. (sorry I haven't been on for a while so I don't know the exact instructions.)

It's actually multiples of the normal CP. 1/2x. 1x. 2x, 100x, etc. Not a specific number.
Greetings, community.

Well, your right there were only 300 BEFORE the elves turned up, and there were at least another 300-500 of them. Then ofc 2,000 Rohirrim came to save the day. I have tried doing 100x CP thing, and it doesn't seem to have any effect.

This won't just apply to the Helms Deep battle. The battle at Minas Tirith contained like 50,000 - 100,000 Orc's and Evil Men, while there were like 10,000 Rohirrim, including all the Gondorian's within the City.

Also, the AI seems pretty bad while doing one of these battles. I put it on Hard, and they barely attacked me, I had all my archers on the walls waiting for the Uruk-Hai, just to see 1 or 2 batallion's come up to the wall/gate every now and then. Shouldn't, on siege maps, the attacking AI should be building up an army preparing to make a full attack and siege equipment. For example, the battle of Helms Deep, Isengard should be able to use Ladders, or can they already?

Check out the development section of the S.E.E. forums. Somewhere there should be a thread discussing a) fortress maps (MT, HD etc) and b) EA's fucking stupid hard-coded AI. :thumbsupsmiley:
