Heehee Yupp :evgr:
After all this time, I decided I'd start playing BFME 2 again; after all, it's one of the few games I keep coming back to.....even three-four years after it was made.....
Anyway, my computer has been upgraded; it's just a graphics card, but it's a HD Radeon 4870. How's that for gaming love? I can run Crysis on high at 60fps, maybe at highest (I haven't checked) and the rest of my computer is still actually pretty good; so I'm happy.

Anarchy is so stupid......see IM A REBEL!

Im a lover of footy now, and I can't wait to watch Jarryd Hayne the superhuman and Fuifui Moimoi the tongan bulldozer play in the Four Nations cup. WOOT Hindmarsh is gonna play for Australia now, even with a broken shoulder! Woot he's crazy.

Hey.

I've noticed a problem with the new camera system.
Once you have zoomed in, you can never zoom back to how it was originally; it always stays slightly zoomed.
Also, on some maps with high altitudes, this can be destructive - for instance, on the Amon Hen map. It means that even from the Commander viewpoint you're still stuck right underneath your heroes, especially near the beginning.
On several maps, one or two of the viewpoints go far too low, underneath the texture of the ground.
And also, the Skybox isn't tight enough, there's always a large black space between the ground and the sky.
I'm sure you're aware of most of these already, but hey.

If you have a mouse, try double clicking the middle mouse button for your zoom issue.

I believe it is 5 on the number pad that returns you to your normal viewing place, both in direction and height of view.

Despair is only for those who see the end beyond all doubt. We do not. It is wisdom to recognize necessity, when all other courses have been weighed, though as folly it may appear to those who cling to false hope. Well, let folly be our cloak, a veil before the eyes of the Enemy! For he is very wise, and weighs all things to a nicety in the scales of his malice. But the only measure that he knows is desire, desire for power; and so he judges all hearts. Into his heart the thought will not enter that any will refuse it, that having the Ring we may seek to destroy it. If we seek this, we shall put him out of reckoning.

i was gonna say the two above suggestions, but try those out.
we know about hte black area that runs around the rim; as far as i know it is unavoidable and we'll jsut have to deal with it.

Couldn't you stretch the skybox or something? How did they do it in the campaign movies?

Here's a good one.... Once I fought a round in Minas Morgul, playing as Men of the West. Things were going fine till I studied Grand Harvest - and then, all my farms started giving only 1 resource a piece. Let's say that made things a little difficult, and I began guarding each little farm with crazed ferocity. :p I was facing an Angmar player (my younger brother) over an LAN connection when it happened, if that means anything.

Also, I noticed another thing, again over an LAN connection. If my brother and I are allies at a fortress map, just as we defeat one of the enemies the game crashes with a game.dat error. This has happened on repeated occasions.

In the second case, what was the enemy that you defeated?

Each time it was either a Mordor at Minas Tirith or an Isengard at Helm's Deep. We tried each instance at least a couple times, each time with the same result.

Is your rise of the witchking installment patched with EA Patch 1.06? And have you put the folder you downloaded on C drive (C:\RJ RotWK would that be;) When not, try that
Excuse my for my English:P

well, make sure bfme2 is patched to 1.06. rotwk should be patched to 2.01.
also make sure your game is installed in the default directory (C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king) and that you have the mod installed in the correct place (C:\RJ_RotWK)
if you are still having problems after checking/correct these things, come back and we'll try to help you out some more! in the future however, please post issues like this in the correct section: http://forums.revora...?showforum=1859 :p

- Citadel Guards (the ones of the archery range) need a nerf. They have a hell lot of armor. Fountain Guards, on the other hand, need a buff.
- The Mordor fortress does not always show all heroes that need to be revived.

Anybody can explain to me how i can corret this while new version dont come?
i would be very thankfull ;)
