Does it accelerate? Will it have several veteran stages, using the NPatch logic? Deploy weapons? Price?

No deploy feature.

hmm then it'll be too easy to kill. imagine the scrambler vs it.. scrambler would win soo freaken bad- controlling the amageton tank :p
either that, or bomb with vortex bombers... 4 can already take out a mcv..

eh i wanted anti air =(
im quite good at drawing (photoshop 7.0) =)heres some.. stuff for rs that will more then likly NOT be on it :p

Well, I have three things to say about the lack of AA. One, it needs to have a weakness. Two, if you have the resources to build it, then you must have the resources to build AA.

Third, it could be made immune to the Scrambler.

for 1, it costs 10,000 atm (may be subject to change) and can not be scrambled/hacked over but you can only ever build one.

well now i no the armageddon tank is immune to hacking...
eh i still think the tank needs a small >light< aa just to kill thouse small stuff that'll eventually kill it... like a rocketeer

well it's imo anyway :lol: can't change things that's already done
overall nice super tank =)

It has ten thousand hit points. That a tad more than an MCV has...

Just watch that fight. It singlehandedly fucks up an entire army and the base. And hmm, what's that other unit we showed you recently? Isis Shieldcaster...hmmm I wonder.

The idea of this mod is to combine units - even the godly ones - to best effect. Yes there are ways to kill the Armageddon but there are equally ways to prevent it being killed by using other units.

eh i still think the tank needs a small >light< aa just to kill thouse small stuff that'll eventually kill it... like a rocketeer

If I had a tank that big, surely adding a small AA would smack of just being out of place? And a rockie swarm against that thing? How long are they going to be there for? A week? By the time they've even made the green bar go down a notch the thing will have crushed you and insulted your mum. So in short, it has either godly skylancer AA or nothing. And we chose nothing, because otherwise unit is ubergod and nothing could ever stop it. It's still insanely, ridiculously more powerful than any other unit in the entire game and you want to make it more powerful?

There's just no pleasing some people. :lol:

Believe in paradox, he did a test run of the unit when it wasn't even capped so made army of them... needless to say, nexus in taht game did throw insanely weapons fire at it but all for nothing... paradox lost 1..and got like 5 or more and that 1 succumb after very heavy fire.

it won't get destroyed by direct nuclear strike either and you need ALOT of bombers if you wanna take this down... like TS..30 orca bombers or banshees to take down core defender which also had 10,000 hitpoints:P

also, the unit will go out with a nice blast wave when destroyed so just destroying it in your base may not be your salvation, preferably kill it somewhere else but this feat won't be deploy feat as you wouldn't believe how many people accidentally deploy such stuff and doom their own base.

Yeah, I played some yesterday with a friend and he found a Dreadnaught tank from a crate... then deployed it.
