Huzzah! Let us rejoice in the really small bounties of microspace, where everything is tiny! Let us also make the Domain go in there and come out really small, with guns that are about as powerful as peashooters. Now that would be hilarious. They'll be all like "Oh no, we're tiny!" and we'd all be like "WTF? They're tiny! Let's kill them before they grow again!" and then our galaxy suddenly has a chance.

Also, does microspace actually exist? Like, in real life? Or do we not know and just theorise? Or are you just making this up as you go along?

its all theories

most of this sci fi stuff is based in theories, and then people make them sound really cool, half the time it is later proved that it doesn't exist (aether anyone?)

but hey!, it doesn't have to be proven to be in a sci fi RPG, half the fun of it is being able to have impossible things and use them as a technology your race has

so yeah, they wouldn't have any proof of sub, or even micro space, but that doesn't matter does it?(and it could be prooven right in the future, but not in our lifetimes i would say)

Hehehe. So true.

It's theorized to exist. As is theorized that there are an infinite number of dimensions in an infinite number of universe in the multiverse. We may even expect to cross universal boundaries. We'll see what I've got in store.

Ooh, universe-hopping. That's always good for a laugh. Ooh, ooh, ooh! I have a thought! POSSIBLE SPOILER BUT PROBABLY NOT, AND I'M SURE IF IT IS NOWE WILL THINK OF SOMETHING ELSE BECAUSE THIS PROBABLY WOULDN'T WORK ANYWAY: is that how we get rid of the Domain? By shoving them in another universe and letting someone else deal with them? ;) (I appreciate that, as they came from another universe, this wouldn't hold them back too much. I assume....)

No, they came from another galaxy. Important difference there - galaxy hopping just requires awesome space-drives, which the Domain have, but universe hopping takes a little bit more. Not even the TARDIS can do that ;)

Dude, yes it can. Just not deliberately. Don't you remember the episodes with parallel Micky who was called Ricky? And parallel Rose who was a small dog? And where parallel Rose's dad got with Rose's real mum? And they kept hopping between universes with the little yellow thingies. And the TARDIS was how it all started, remember?

But yeah, the Domain. Fair enough, different galaxy. Let's send them to a different universe, in the void between two galaxies. Space has that, right? Then they can slowly starve to death before they reach civilisation, assuming they don't have food synthesisers and crop cultures aboard their ships, or they don't photosynthesise, or space-osynthesise, or something. Either way, it wouldn't be our problem any more. ;)

Even if they go to another universe, they'd still have their space drives, so the wouldn't be stuck per se. They'd have no clue where to go to find sentient life.

lol, well Kronos is from a different dimension, or possible an alternate reality

so would that different dimension go under the title of a different universe?, or are there many universes, all in the one dimension, then there are others in different dimensions, and then parallel realities for all of the above, err, Ive confused myself ;)

so there is...
-galaxy
-universe
-dimension
-reality

So we could just zap Domain into...
a different galaxy,
in a different universe,
in a different dimension,
in an alternate reality

....and be done with them :p
((im sure they would be well and truly lost by then))

Well, I'm thoroughly confused. I think what you're trying to say is that there are different dimensions within our own universe, but then there are similar different dimensions in parallel universes. Galaxies are all part of our normal universal dimensions, and realities are just confusing, and cause far too many paradoxes to be properly considered. Anyone ever see the episode of Red Dwarf where they went into a different universe and Lister got pregnant, despite being a man? Because in the alternate universe men got pregnant, and upon entering it Lister was endowed with a womb and ovaries and such, which he then retained on returning to his own universe, because he was pregnant, and it made no sense, but in a way it did, and then everyone got horribly confused.

(Speaking of which, SWG, there was another episode of Red Dwarf where they landed on a moon with a high psychic emanation from the core, and it tuned itself into Rimmer's mind, and became an insane hell planet, because he was depressed and self-hating. You could use that in your RP, if you like. A planet where the Ghosts have to face up to their own mind to see if they're good enough. Or something. Use your imagination.)

i saw the one where they went to a place where everything was backwards, that was hilarious :p :)

Ok, in order of size, here goes it.
Smallest
Meteors
Asteroids
Moons
Planet
Solar System
Quadrant
Galaxy
Dimension
Universe
Multiverse
Largest

Ok, basically the Dimensions are within each universe, an infinite number of dimensions exist within any given universe, and an infinite number of universes exist within the Multiverse.

don't forget the idea about alternate realities, where there are i-don't-think-there-is-a-number-for-that-many, different universes, which slit of from the fact that an atom might move a different way

but that doesn't seem really practical for nature, but hey, its one of the theories...

edit: also should dimension and universe be swapped around?

No, because a dimension is sustained within a universe, not the other way around.

So, uhh, who's gonna find the Stargates again? We should probably get on with that....

Whoever wants to, let me know. You'll of course have domain interferance for some duration *evil smile*. But you should be able to surpass them this time (small force, I promise. Terrain forces.)

like i said, i think it should be team effort

so how about we make someone find something, which then attracts others to see what it is, then we all work together to bring the gates to here

then domain could have detected that same thing, and thats why they come

Perhaps an activation of the system? A massive power output, even in microspace, would be detected in normal space and *possibly* hyperspace. Perhaps the system malfunctioned and activated? Something like that.

Thought! I could have my one remaining Warmaster (who I was intending to be one of the alpha-level psykers described in my faction's thingy, essentially a really powerful psychic [possibly even my superweapon...haven't quite decided that part yet, but yeah, back to the point]) detect it with his 'special needs' and then go check it out. Then we can figure something out to open the way into Microspace or whatever it was (perhaps KRONOS can show up at this juncture seeing as they're basically attached to my core hard-drives anyway and give me a hand with this) and then, yeah. Storyline -->

...
Y'know. If that's OK.
