I mean when Mirkwood is done, not when this version is done will it be on its own or will it take a little longer and be 1.6.1/2/3/4/5?

I don't think it'll be ready for sometime, as there aren't much more than concepts for most of the mirkwood buildings as it is. So, all in all, it'll probably be a few releases before mirkwood's prep'ed and ready.

I hope this is what you wanted to know.

Not to mention modelling the buildings. I'm imagining for the most part the mirkwood structures will either consist of structures in caves (let's say for example a barracks), inside hollowed trees (towers, farms or the unit upgrade building?) or somethng else my sleep-deprived mind can't fathom at this point in time. Regardless, whatever kind of structures mirkwood has, you can bet they'll most likely be more than a little tricky to model and skin. I've no doubt it'll look amazing regardless of what is eventually done, but mirkwood may be a little more time consuming than other buildings we've seen so far.

Early Mirkwood Fortress Concept
-Pretty good in my opinion. Could be better with better objects, as shown below.
~Just the Mirkwood fortress. Can't entirely remember my list of proposed upgrades, will post it up (with some alterations) later.
Updated Mirkwood Fortress Concept
-Much better. I lurve the lighthouse object. Could still be improved, though - mainly by adding those archers I've been talking about, as well as a more Mirkwood-ized Gate and statues.
Early Mirkwood Stockade
-Blegh. Outdated model, thank you! Just thought I'd leave it as a reference...
~Resource building.
Updated Mirkwood Stockade
-Infinitely better than the first. One of my favourite buildings :p
Forest-Warden's Lodge
-I like it - first model ftw. Name still a work in progress :p
~Trains units, just like the Lorien Barracks.
Shrine to Illuvatar
-Fairly decent - not my favourite, but certainly not my first Stockade /sick
~Trains Healers and Noledhil.
Mirkwood Sanctuary
-I really like this one.
~Well. Not as in a statement, but that's what it does - act as a Well :p heals nearby units.
Woodsmen's Lodge
-A Woodsmen's Lodge. Probably my most-detailed, but not my favourite.
Lorien Forge
-Possible new Lorien Forge. Still some things I'd like to add - like lanterns for the statues to hold, more Lorien-esque walls, change the blue to gold.

I like the ideas, and pretty good concept art from worldbuilder too.
But i can't see the last 3 pics. i keep getting this:

It was a nice pice of animation there, the way it's tree form rises from the ground like it would in real life, brill work :good:
