He did fight against the Imps though and while it was not for the NR he did help out during the Thrawn Crisis and the Hand of Thrawn Duology.


I would know that, having read those books numerous times myself. Still, he was mostly a mercenary. I believe that you can set a maintainence cost, and if we put him in, his should be very high.

What about the Hell's Hammers? I havent run across a reference to them outside the Imperial Sourcebook, but aren't they supposed to be the Empire's elite armored regiment? The ace in the hand that the Empire could pull for particularly resistant worlds?

Maybe they could be a field commander for tanks, but with uber bonuses?
Don't think, Fingan, you aren't properly equipped for it.

By mercenary I meant that he worked for money, not any other reasons. Interesting idea about Hell's Hammers. They would be a good 501st equivilant for vehicles.

Don't be so hard on him. He was just suggesting somthing, even though I agree with you on that. Not to mention it's impossible.

How about Coruscant Guards?

They could have a similar production limit to capital ships in that they could only be produced on core worlds such as Coruscant or Byss. They could have ranged stun attacks and devastating melee attacks since their primary function was riot control. If it is possible to program this, they could also receive a firepower and defense bonus against hostile indigenous forces and make any friendly indigenous forces fighting near them more effective.

I'm not sure about this. It's an interesting idea, but impractical.
I would like to add seatroopers. They would have to be classified as repulsor vehicles, but that would allow them to cross water.

Wouldn't that make them applicable to different bonuses and the anti-vehicle turrets then?

I think you could even classify them as vehicles to allow them to be deployed on Yag'Dul and such worlds. I'll expand my earlier post now. I meant that each unit has diffrent tags with characteristics on it. I'm pretty sure that the repulsor and vehicle tags are not linked.

IIRC, planet unit restrictions are done through exclusion of specific units, so you can easily exclude anything...

Even better. Said Evo Troopers could land on Yag'Dul without trouble, yet still be able to capture things. (build pads, etc)

Could we have Admiral Daala as a hero for the Empire perhaps using the Chimera or the Gorgon as her ship.
She should also have the advantages of a Fleet Commander

Maybe she could have the opition to come with escorts. Such as the Hydra and her other destroyers. But to make them weak they are all imp 1 star destroyers.

alright an idea for native units for imps like i had for rebels.
i was thinking about the noghri and thought that since they are suppose to be vader's assassins why don't they function as a land unit that specializes in doing great damage to enemy heroes? (i'm not sure if they already do that actually if so i'm going to feel like a fool but i though that they were just another trooper type unit)

and on another note would it be possible to make the generic smuggler/bounty hunter minor heroes usable in land combat? not sure what powers they would have probably things similar to Han and Boba respectively. just and idea i was thought of and throwing it out there
