Yeah, well, it's out there.... (if your too fast, be patient)

And it's buggy alright..

Before your read along, please read the whole post ;) It contains info on how to play Harad, and what factions to report the most on...

So, I would like you all to report any bugs you might find in this topic. Please go somewhat by this example;

Faction: Rohan
Who: Rohan Militia
What: The unit does not have a correct Palantir Image


on the Thing, it can be Eldaravir, Khoragan, Barracks, Refugees of Rhovanion, and everything else... for the structures, you don't need to say Gondor Barracks, 'cause you've already said what faction it's for... :blink:
Anyways, please specify who and what as much as you can... and the faction ;)

Oh, and absolutely no need to tell me that no new units have new voices... Sound doesn't count :good: Now on to "infortant" stuff


Gondor: This is the only faction that is done... bugs, aye, but that's what I'd like you all to root out ;) Play it all over, and maybe it'll be bugfree the next time...

Rohan: I've added a few things, but not near the 30% stage.... Give what you want, but I can't really think of anything that doesn't have a bug... :p

Rhun: The other almost done faction... It's mostly done, although it lacks all the buildings, and finished buildings... Aye, reports from this one is liked :)

Harad: A barracks, a few units... No need to report anything, but one thing I'll tell you.. To play them, you'll have to be in the lower-left courner on Osgiliath.. Some other maps also work, but I don't know wich ones... Basically, I have only made a base or two, and it's a camp north east and west... meaning, the 'face' of the camp has to face that direction ;)

As a last line... AI has been done for Gondor, and Rhun... I know that Gondor works as it should, however Rhun's a littly buggy... I think... Anyways, go for Hard...
Rohan has a few edits in the AI aswell, but Harad is AI-less... or, acctually, play against Harad as much as possible, as they are Mordor still on most maps... Meaning, AI won't give you a game.dat.... yes, that's right, there's alot of them in the beta...

Gondor game dat, uncombo'd lvl 4 soldier archer horde.

Gondor soldier and pike combo has no rank or xp.

Rhun stables is missing image.

Had a go with Rohan:

Start with Gondor Captain
Gondor Captain has hero-like voice (eg. near death)
The new Barracks needs to be rotated 180%
Militia cost 1, don't affect Barracks veterancy and don't have a rank themselves, have Gondor Soldier palentir.

Tried to get Rhun and Harad going, but got Isengard and Mordor castles... then my stomach started to rumble so I stopped... need lunch :p

Edit - the stuff that was working (:good:) looks very pro, and I haven't tried Gondor yet! Looked through the .big files too and a lot of the textures look fantastic, especially Gondor soldiers and Haradrim (imo) and of course the new buildings.

I played medium against Rhun as Gondor, and there was a game crash. I take it you can only play against hard foes as any faction?
I will remember Rhovanion Alliance, RIP .

nope... game-crashes aren't made by Easy\Medium\Hard :p They're just random bugs that I don't know the source of... yet :p

Some heroes for Gondor seem a bit small... most notably the elf and Eldaravir.

Also, where do I purchase those fiefdom units? They dont seem to show up in any building?

No fuel left for the pilgrims

Rhun Bugs
Archers do crap damage, even when upgraded with flaming arrows.
Stable texture doesn't show up; instead stationary model of Gondor Stable.
Stationary worker models are in the plants on all Rhun Farms.
All Rhun units and heroes gain little experience from battle.
The elite guys (can't remember the names :p) have either an extremely slow or nonexistent attack animation.
The King Guy (I'll learn the names at some point :p) likes to run ahead of his archers, getting chopped to pieces.

Yeah, please do learn the names.. of the heroes atleast...
Cause of course the king guy runs ahead, he has swords... or do you mean the the ranger of Rhun?

thanks for all the bugs though :) I've already started to fix things, as it's almost more fun to fix things like that :p

Rhun
For some reason if I build the Spearmen out of a barracks on a camp or castle the game crashes but on and outpost it works fine

And Khoragan and Gurthgul’s corrupted minds thing doesn’t work for me

thats all ive found for now

k a few things for Rhun-

1. When the stable reachers Level 2 Horse archers disappear from the command set

2. Got a game.dat error when i put the cavalry into wedge formation

3. Also had the same problem with the spearmen

But its absolutely awesome so far!!!!
