--If you do not know what that serial is then do step B1
3-After completing the RC Mod "main" install you must locate your Game2.dat as requested at the end of the install
--Game2.dat is located in your "BFME2InstallDirectory"\game2.dat (example:D:\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth ™ II)
--Copy Game2.dat and paste it into the RC Mod's game directory (default is:C:\Program FilesThe Battle for Middle-earth II - RC Mod)
4-Now download the LATEST RC Mod updater from http://www.moddb.com/mods/rc-mod
5-After downloading the Updater run it and the updater will complete the installation.

Yes... Either download the RC Mod CD and mount it via daemon tools... OR JUST run the SINGLEPLAYER version :p (via the installed location) :p

Ok I got the mod to run (Single player this time ;) ) but now the movie plays (the one with the rohan castle in the snow) and stops at a certain point (I assume this is when the "single player "multiplayer" etc. buttons are supposed to show up). I copied the game2.dat file into the RC mod directory. I'm probebly making some dumb mistake :p but please help.

Nah... Not your fault... Try restarting or minimizing and maximizing the game, this can fix it... :p If it does not... I would not bother downloading version 1.03 or whatever to try to fix it. I would wait till sunday afternoon ;) :p

I've tried to install this mod (version 1.07 - with a clean installation) and everything works well until the second phase of the installation. Then the installer freezes and goes into a non-responsive state. If I close the mod via ending the program manually I get an error message, something NET framework. If I try to close the installer and start the mod from the desktop shortcut I get the same error message. If I try to start the mod up from the single player icon the splash screen comes up but then the game crashes.

So...any ideas?

I have had this problem before with the RC-mod but by me it worked when you wait. When it goes to a unresponsive state you must not cancel it. By me it finished after a time. Hope this helps you

You were right about needing to just leave the installer alone, it seems to installed fully.

Unfortunately, the mod's still crashing after the splash screen comes up. Hmmm...

Well, it's not giving an error any more. It just crashes. Well, the splash screen opens and then just closes, but the game doesn't start.

And yes, BfME2 is patched to 1.06.
