Choose your textures well - You're using a lot of bright greens which can be alright but too much is bad for realism and can be overpowering.
Blending Textures - You should blend your terrain textures better.
Smooth off your hills- Use the smooth heights tool to smooth out some of those rough edges.
More detail - You should spend some time working on the terrain using different types of textures and mixing them in.
You won't often see a field of the exact same grass with no dirt showing right?
Have a look at other people's maps and see what they've done.
The key to mapping is time and patience it's takes quite a while to get good at it and 1 map can possibly take a long time to get looking just right.
m@tt's tutorial a great resource for those starting out.

Also look up the EA tutorials even though they are for BFME2 they are worth checking out.
A few maps to check out.

i also updated Dol Guldur (terrain repainted (its very cool now), gave khamul more health(if you kill khamul, you´ll win, but it´s very hard to kill him) added more mountains, removed eagles and dunedain and more), Blue Mountains (added new gate, if you kill the dragon you´ll win, and more)
