I was thinking that since there are so many heroes for each faction and not enough room for them... and then I realized that none of the inn factions have any heroes. So, the minor heroes (i.e. Gondor: Beregond, Madril, Hurin of the Tower Guard) would be in the inn factions, allowing for more versatility in the feature. I've taken the time to compose this small list...

EDIT1: Added Shagrat, Gorbag, and Grishnakh to Mordor per Saruman's... er, Shikari's orders. :p
EDIT2: Added Elladan and Elrohir to Elves because I saw they were going to be campaign-only in the news update...
EDIT3: Added the poll to the topic.
EDIT4: Added Gondor and Rohan hero powers. Added descriptions of Southern Fiefdoms heroes.
EDIT5: Added powers for the popular Duinhir.
EDIT6: Increased Theodred's cost, added a "Son of Theoden" power, and decided that Beregond maybe wasn't a captain in the Guard after all...
EDIT7: Added Beregond's alternate recruit description.
EDIT8: Added Theodred's "Glorious Fall," moved "Shield Wall" to Grimbold.
EDIT9: Added powers for Forlong and Angbor.
EDIT10: Removed the poll, and made several unsuccessful attempts to fix a new one.
EDIT11: Managed to make the new poll work!!!
EDIT12: Put in the rest of the Southern Fiefdom hero powers. *Finally.*

That's a good list, well researched and something close to how we plan on moving the heroes. We really need to look carefully at the inn system and what we want to do with it in the future but we do plan on having heroes for levels 5 and 6.

If I may add a few,

Mordor- Shagrat, Gorbag and Grishnak

I know that I disagreed with having the heroes that you listed for Gondor as structure/actual heroes for them... But I definitely like them better as Inn Heroes only. With Madril being the one structure hero available to Gondor.

For the Southern Fiefdoms, maybe we can cut it down? I mean I doubt that a player will be able to churn out all of the Southern Fiefdoms in a standard skirmish match considering that the player would also need to take care of the faction that they are currently playing... A good number would be 3 heroes.* And for the Southern Fiefdom mini faction, I kind of really want to see Prince Imrahil moved to there as well because at the moment I personally think that he's kind of out of place with the rest of the Gondor faction, considering that you don't have access to other Southern Fiefdom units without an Inn :p . But like I said, this is just my opinion.

Perhaps you would like to give a list of powers/functions for the heroes that you suggested for the Southern Fiefdoms Inn faction?

For the Dwarves, I think that there are two CAH heroes (that haven't been reskinned or whatever) that could be moved there? And I'm also thinking that it would be nice if Prince Bard or King Brand could also show up there as well...

For the Elves, I'd like to see a hero from the three sub factions included.. Like I'm thinking either Arwen/Glorfindel for Rivendell; Haldir for Lothlorien; and someone from Mirkwood :crazed: .

*Changed me mind.

Of course... I was waiting on powers until someone encouraged me, but you can't get much higher than Shikari's... thanks! :crazed:

I'll edit the first post as I get things done, but feel free to criticize (so long as it's constructive... :shiftee:)

Good thinking, ithilien! :shiftee:

Yeah, its kinda hard to find good heroes for Isenguard and the like, simply because they didn't really have many heroes. The only thing I could think of would be to demote Ugluk to the inn for Isenguard, and demote Azog to the inn for the goblins. Otherwise, I think their hero barrels have been pretty much scraped clean. :crazed:

Berethin, I think that we can get away with having standard heroes for factions also appear in the Inn system because with the Inn you can't purchase an allegiance with the faction that you're playing :shiftee: . So no demoting please. Just copy+paste so long as it would make sense.

And I change my mind about Prince Imrahil..

You could move the generic CAHs to the Inn (Berethor, Krashnak, Morwen, etc.) Or something like that.
I agree with Imrahil becoming the top Southern Fiefdoms Inn hero very strongly. It makes no sense otherwise.

Just for the record, you can get Knights of Dol Amroth from the stables...

Pretty good overall, solves a lot of problems with those not quite hero units :p Goblins have way too many heroes imo, those two troll heroes need to leave.

If nobody objects, I'd like to start a poll on which Southern Fiefdoms heroes should be kept. There will be a max of... say, 4 inn heroes per faction. Let the voting... BEGIN! I nulled my vote, so I can see what you all think. Please pick at least two... :p

Also, since everyone thinks that Imrahil should go with the Fiefdoms, what if he was replaced in Gondor by Denethor?

Denethor wouldn`t make a good hero in my opinion. He was not exactly in any of the major battles of the War of the Ring (in the fighting, that is). If the team wants to reflect his presence in the War of the Ring era, I think that they should show him in the campaigns.

Looks like Duinhir is in the lead so far... I might get started on his powers sometime soon.

Just a quick question: will the factions have access to their own inn heroes? And, if so, how? I think it would make sense if they could.

I agree that Imrahil should stay with Gondor, actually, considering that they have access to the KoDA.

As for the Southern Fiefdom heroes, as long as they have Forlong the Fat, I'm happy. ;)

Imrahil really needs to stay in Gondor proper. He was very very important to the defence of the city. Since Gondor really is just the Men of Minas Tirith and the game is set during the WoTR then he should be there. He did more for the Capital then for his own City. He went with the Armies to the Black gate and was put in charge of the city after the battle while Faramir was recovering.

Hmm... Okay, but I still would rather have KODA only available from the Inn. Otherwise, it sort of removes individuality.
