Uh.. Beregond wasn't a Captain. He actually laughed at the prospect of it in RotK :p

Thanks, both of you. Your suggestions have been heeded... mike_, is Captain of the White Company all right for you then? :p

No, because he wasn't a Captain until after the War of the Ring :p

EDIT: 'Loyalty to the Captain' would work, though.

I like the descriptions for the Southern Fiefdom heroes! :p As for Duinir's powers, I think they're good. I think the Rain of Arrows should be good - the way I'm looking at it, is it an arrow version of the bombard power? I think his leadership is good, as well. I just wonder if maybe that much of a fire-rate boost might be a little much, though, for him to start right away with.

I like the Rohan hero powers, as well. Theodred was certainly a sturdy fighter, because if I recall he and his men held the Fords of Isen for quite some time against overwhelming odds. I wondered if maybe his leadership should apply to all units, as opposed to just cavalry.

Also, though you've probably seen what I refer too, there is some talk about Damrod and Madril in the Gondor section. It was mentioned to possibly move Madril to being a full-time Gondor hero and put Damrod in his place in the inn.

And, if I may add a suggestion to Beregond's description, how about "Recruit the Loyal Citadel Guard and Friend of Pippin's"?

Hmm... Okay, but I still would rather have KODA only available from the Inn. Otherwise, it sort of removes individuality.

I think it makes Gondor more unique, seeing as they're the only ones who can acquire sf aid without the inn...seeing as the fiefdoms were part of Gondor...

By that logic, then why are they limited to the inn? :p

I'm just saying it makes them unique :p

And they aren't limited to the inn. Gondor can get Imrahil and KoDA and summon the rest of the gang.

An idea:

Theodred:

Lv. 10 - Glorius Fall: Theodred can't be damage for x number of seconds.

Fords of Isen Part 1:
"When they reached the islet they found Grimbold defending Théodred's body against two huge orcs. Elfhelm rushed to his aid and felled one orc while Grimbold slew the other.
When they lifted Théodred's body, they found he was still alive. He lived long enough to say, "Let me lie here - to keep the ford until Éomer comes."

Hmmm... I'll give Grimbold the Shield Wall, then. Added. :p

It looks like Forlong will be the next to get powers. He will certainly get a mount, since he was specifically mentioned as riding "a great, thick-limbed horse."

Lv. 1- Son of Theoden (Theodred and Theoden gain 25% armor when near each other.)

This power seems a little too situational for me. If you can't recruit Theoden from the Inn or from your own faction (in which case, you wouldn't have access to Theodred through the Inn), then the only way to gain benefits from this power would be if you had a Rohan ally using Theoden.

I don't have a problem seeing this power in because it makes perfect sense lore-wise (not to mention that the mentioned percentage numbers don't over power him) but at the same time this power can only be applied in specific circumstances.

We deffinately need to allow factions to access their own Inn heroes.

Umm... Excuse me for asking, but what would be the point of that? Wouldn't take away the uniqueness of the Inn; making it act like a secondary barracks  .

No, just the heroes. You couldn't get the inn units. Of course why would you. You can't ally with yourself. But what I am saying that along with the heroes of the faction you allied with you should get our own factions heroes.

I think that that could overload each faction with heroes then. Rohan already has Eomer, Theoden, Radagast, Eowyn, Merry, Hama, and Gamling. I don't think that Rohan (or Gondor for that matter) needs more heroes. It would cram the faction in my opinion which is why I like having these heroes only available through the Inn alliances. But that's just me.
