It's not silly. It's totally normal that there are supplies on the battlefield, because the battel is cast to control these supplies. And if there's currently no battle for it (and the battles usually don't last long) it's not on the battlefield. (And if you don't have a better idea, don't censure the others ones)

You know this is the RA2 game so sometimes you know you can't like suddenly invent code or have ultra realism which ruins actual game play. Heck you "build bases" and last time I checked in rl it didn't take $200 to train a GI. Also think before you post.

Also yes it is a dumb question you asked about Ares, perhaps you should go to the actual forums at Renegade projects instead of posting unrelated mod questions.

I'm using Npatch for D-day, I would like to use Ares in the future but atm it lacks a lot of the stuff I need to get D-day's seven sides working.

How is the Mörser Karl Gerät 040 going to work?

I can't see how your going to get it to work being a unit.

What you see as the "unit" will be the turret of a super weapon building, I just haven't made the shp base for it yet.

Ah so it uses EMP type logic. Yeah, I thought it might of been a moving unit. So it going to be fixed in place or move around like turning and stuff?

I can make it undeploy & move but it can shoot anywhere on the map so it doesn't really need to.

How about a "cash bonus" which gives you some credits for each enemy killed/destroyed?

Is possibile the "prisoners of war" logic? Instead of killing enemy soldiers you can "capture" them to get a small amount of cash, indivual promotions, and eventually a small "map reeveal"?

Are possibile the infantry ambushes? For example behind a tree, a sniper can be hidden, the range is reduced but the firepower is increased.

And what about some discount bonus for infantry, mechanical units, structures etc.?
Together with best modders since 2003.

A cash bonus system is doable but I don't really like the idea TBH, reminds me of the GLA in Generals.

POW isn't really doable in a efficient way, it would have to be a complex hack of the psychic weapons system & a grinder building, I don't feel the amount of work required justifies the gains TBH.

Infantry ambushes like that can't be done.

Discount bonus are already being used by America.

Instead of Italy's Axis Pack, you should name it Axis Support. Sounds a bit better.

i downloaded the newest version but i cant build naval units and i don't know how to built super weapons. can somebody help me?
