Rarr, damn orthophoto isn't georeferenced, so I have to reference to orthorectify the set of airphotos I'm working with. Then after that I have to reference the total station dataset to the right coordinate grid- except I can't beause the dataset authors only recorded one benchmark and you need at least 3 to do a proper affine transform.

Angry.

I...just lost Rhodes in Rome: Total War
(I still haven't beaten the campaign yet and this is the farthest I got!)

They killed my faction leader and several family members including my best general...

As I sent the majority of my forces North-west to attack Rome but they sent a boat loaded with full stacks of guys right to my base and completely obliterated me! I was totally unprepared...

I kept my best general in my base 'cause I didn't want him to die...

As long as we're on that subject, Damascus rebelled against the greatest English general, Paul the Crusader. Since I'm 4000+ florins in the hole, I can't recruit reinforcements to help him, either.

Seems like everybody's playing total war, but my game is more of celebration topic issue . Just landed Albrecht Brescht's (18 star general with 10 dread) grand army in Sicily to crush the last of the upstart italian states.

On Medieval 2, my Spanish empire has just begun to take root in the holy land, and I am doing awesomely, and wealthily. Bow before my strategic and economic prowess, mere mortals! (Ideally that would have been an evil-laughing face, but Revora doesn't seem to have one.)

As you're under 18, yes. At least, I think it's like that. After a moment's brief research, go to your GP and explain that you'd like to speak to a psychiatrist or whatever. Out of curiosity, is this question asked with reference to yourself or another? Either way, are we allowed to ask what the cause is?

I wouldn't want to offload it here but yes, it's for myself. I believe that, having looked on many websites, I have a lot of the symptoms affiliated with depression, and I can label numerous personal reasons which might cause it. For the past year or two it's been getting worse and worse. I can't therefore just label it as "exam stress". I'm sure that most people go through a period like this, and that it's normal, but some of my reasons aren't so normal (as in prevalent in the majority of cases).

I hope you'll get out of it... I kind of know how it feels.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

If you do visit a psychologist, make sure it's a decent one. I have had many, many bad experiences with these people in the past. Half of them don't even know what they're doing, they just match up a bunch of symptoms and hand you the most likely diagnose, and that's it. That can be a very depressing thing, so take your time and don't feel obliged to stick to the one assigned to you if you don't like or approve of the methods used. Those social workers are horrible.

Just feel like I have to say something about the social work profession as it was brought up. A psychologist is not a social worker. They have entirely different degrees. Most likely though (at least in the U.S.), mental health issues will be treated by social workers. It's sad to hear that there are social workers out there that are unhelpful to clients, but thus is true for any profession. The social workers you mentioned Matias sound like they are solely practicing from a medical framework, which is a shame. They should also be assessing your strengths and working with you to improve the current situation, not just diagnosing you with a "problem" that somehow needs to be fixed.
