Yeah, with the proper router settings I can throttle bandwith to specific internal IPs... did it once a while ago to stop my little brother torrenting everything all the time :mellow:

I vent watching Australia get absolutely raped in last night's game against Germany :shiftee2: Sure Germany were probably going to win anyway, but we still had a decent chance for a draw. Even then, we could have atleast kept the goals down to less than the 4-0 thrashing we got.

Not only did we get our arses handed to us, but that greasy, trigger-happy, harry-high-pants F*CK of a "referee" decided to give our only fit goal scorer (Tim Cahill) a straight red card for ABSOLUTELY F*CKING NOTHING :mellow: Even the germans said that was unnecessarily harsh. Not only that, but he ignored a blatant handball in the penalty area for what could've made the score 2-1, and got us right back into the game. ARRGH.

Though because we're not as good, soccer's all the more satisfying when we do own (though rarely :shiftee2:). Still, 20th in the world isn't that bad.

I agree, Cahill shouldn't have been sent off, although Germany were playing some excellent football. Still, 4-0 was flattering to them. Australia are really going to have their work cut out against Ghana or Serbia, whoever's next.

I vent that despite my 97 on the final and A average for the year, I didn't meet the standards to move up a level in history. I also vent that despite my straight A's in math this year, stupid errors caused me to get an 84 on the final, removing my chance to move up a level in math.

My quarter grades (plus the final) were like this; B+ B+ A B+ A+

Apparently, the history department requires straight A's in all four quarters to move up, regardless of the final average. All of my B+'s were 89's, tragically.

My year ended up with 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5...

Where 1 is the worst possible, and 6 the best :p

Well, I got a C and then a C+ for my first two quarters of CompSci this year. It was a collage level course though, so on my GPA it's the same as having a B and a B+ in a regular course. the real upside to this is that the AP Exam was easy as hell. Assuming that I did the short answer perfectly (which I'm sure I did), I only needed to get half of the 40 multiple choice questions right to score a 5. Because my teacher greatly values improvement, if your AP score reflects a higher level of skill than was demonstrated earlier in the year, he will change your quarter grades. Essentially, my C's and B's will become A's.
