Could we keep the religious debate in the debate forum please?

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

The reason people find it un cool if you do not have sex is because its natural. and to be going against nature is well... un cool

How do you figure marriage is not human intervention? Sure we have "mates" but there's nothing coded in the human genome saying we have to get married... Its just something that we decided should be considered the norm.

And on the "making love" theme, there is nothing more to it then the sheer fact that you are trying to reproduce with your "mate" making love is just the terminology we use nowadays to avoid saying "yeah me and my wife engaged in the reproduction process last night"

Nertea is right... lets not start a debate that cannot be won by either side.

better yet... lets not debate at all... lol

I never intended to start a debate anyways....was just replying to Vort's "suggestions" for life.

I will drop the subject in this thread.

No, Jeth's venting his anger at the world for forcing sex on teens, and other's are venting their anger at Jeth for various things. So, it's the sorta right topic

I beg to differ. Marriage is not a human invention.

And if sex is not "making love", why is it that nearly everything sex-related terms it that way?

Lol...what Kwen said for the first :good: Polygamy would be a more natural state of being.

Because that's more politically friendly or less offending or less vulgar or whatever you want to call it than having sex, or any other of the many terms used for that :sad2:

Damn it, stop posting before me! :p

Jeth, I suggest dropping the subject completely instead of just in this thread.

An open mind makes the brain fall out? A corpse because of occasional drug recreation? Marriage not a ''human invention''? I think your mind is extremely saturated by your religion. I'm sorry.

What? I can't express my opinion, even in some debate thread elsewhere?

But no, I'm not going to start a debate elsewhere, even in Open Topic or whatnot. I truly doubt that even winning a debate would make you change your mind.

I think your mind is extremely saturated by your religion.

Thank you

You can whatever you want, but I don't suggest doing it. You wouldn't win the debate, since it would eventually lead to the question of whether or not your god exists. Which is a stupid debate.

In regards to the 'living zombie' thingie, that's the people who don't know where the 'border' is with drugs, and that image has kinda become a stereotype for drugs-users. There are lots of people out there who can perfectly normal use drugs without becoming a zombie for the rest of their lives.

Also, don't be too harsh on JC... He may have a different opinion, but at least he has the right and the balls to say it. I may disagree with him, but that's not a reason to start flaming him, is it?
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

I personally don't really believe that someone can go as far as getting too the state of "living zombie"... Not via drugs anyhows..

Oh, and he's hiding behind a forum profile, you can't really credit him for havings balls to say anything.. None of us can :p Because none of us, at least most of us, don't know who anyone else really is.
He could be lying, would you credit him for having the balls to lying? :p

Still, Matias has the right and balls to say what he wants as well... I give him credits for that

I advocate abstinence.

What on earth is the point? Sexual intercourse is a natural way of reproducing. Why would God have invented the orgasm if he didn't intend for us to enjoy it? Abstinence proves nothing.

Sex is what makes marriages intimate....to rip that factor and apply it out of marriage defies its whole reason for existence.

This is very naive of you. Marriage does not solely consist of sex. Sex is not what makes marriage intimate. Intimacy is about feeling an irreplaceable bond with a fellow human being, about feeling closer to someone than you've ever been with anyone. Sex can reinforce it, but is not required to make it 'intimate'.

Premarital or out of marriage sex destroys both it's own reason and the one for marriage too.
Marriage is not a human invention.

I'd have to agree with the 'saturated by your religion' point there.

I know the feeling! I've lost my own dvd permanently I think, but I still have the case (and thus the cd-key). Been installing off my backup since forever...

Gotta hate that feeling... Though if you really can't find it anymore, you can get a new copy for a couple of €

Mmm I feel that my 'backup' is legal enough considering that I still have the cd-key.

If you bought it, and even have the CD-key as proof, it's considered legal in my eyes...
I borrowed my BFME to a friend of mine... He lost it, but found his own a few weeks later... Of course, that didn't contain a manual with a key... :p

This reminds of how I got a legal BFME. I bought a second-hand one. I then sent this to EA without the manual (claiming to have lost it). They sent me a completely new one for €5 (don't remember how I paid that though).

The best part is...a few weeks later they sent me another one :p

Dude, I've just written a 2000-word essay about the differences between Yorkshire and Northumberland dialects in a single evening, because tomorrow I have to prepare my 15-minute presentation on the temporal and spatial linguistic inferences in native Spanish speakers. After that I have 12000 words of Politics essays to write in two weeks, after which I will be given a five-hour take-home exam on the Varieties of English. There's more, too, but I can't remember what any of the rest of it is. On the other hand, I've just spent the whole of this last year lazing about on my arse, so I can't really complain.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.
