I have an idea for a new 25pp power to replace the Earthquake spell. Summon Gondor/Elven Allies, or something like that. It could summon soldiers/archers/pikes/ or cavalry of Gondor and Rivendell to help Arnor, along with heroes Earnur and Glorfindel. I would also say Elrond and Arwen, though Elrond is already in the fortress and Arwen is already a summonable. And Earnur would probably need a new skin, cuz he looks exactly like Arveleg.

Nice idea oblivionator..but Arnor got another summoning spell already that summon The Istari..i think both should serapated and replace summon Arwen and cavarly and Elven warrior. :p

Glorfindel replace Arwem
Earnur and Gondor infantry replace Elven warrior alliance

it better to not having cavarly and infantry in summon spell(in my opinion)

That sounds like a better idea. :p They could be split into 2 summonables. Glorfindel and Rivendell riders on the left side of tier 3, Earnur and Gondor infantry/archers maybe on the right side, replacing the other Elven allies summon. Each faction seems to have their own unique tier 4 powers though, except Arnor and Dwarves sharing Earthquake, Mordor/Goblins=Balrog, and Isengard/Goblins=Dragon. Maybe give Flood back to Elves and then give Arnor Sunflare? Just a thought.

I think that if you merged the excisting arnor with yours Eärendur you would get an unquie and formidable anror!!!!
;) ;)

And def NO hobbits

Thanks for the vote of confidence. :p
Although I used to be against the Hobbits staying in Arnor, I came up with a way to make them useful and non-spamable.
In order to make them actually useful, I say have two new Hobbit units:

  • Hobbit Shirifs: Super-basic Swordsman unit, 8-10 units per horde, should cost between 100 and 150 Resources, equipped with shortswords and small shields, can stealth either when moving or standing still, can receive the Forged Blades upgrade and the Banner Carrier upgrade which promotes horde to lv. 2 and adds an Arnor Soldier Banner Carrier to the horde.
  • Hobbit Archers: Super-basic Archer unit, 8-10 units per horde, should cost between 100 and 150 Resources, equipped with shortbows, an stealth either when moving or standing still, can receive the Fire Arrows upgrade (which should be moved to the Arnor Forge) and the Banner Carrier upgrade which promotes horde to lv. 2 and adds an Arnor Archer Banner Carrier to the horde.

As for how to make the Hobbits un-spamable, my idea is to have one build-plot on the Arnor Fortress be able to build a Hobbit House expansion, which could still gain levels like a normal building, (costing about 400-500 Resources) after buying the Hobbit Sovereignty fortress upgrade for 750-1000 Resources, that way in order to spam Hobbits, you'll need a lot of Fortresses.

The only downside being that you wont be able to train Hobbits on Fortress maps.

i suppose i could agree with the hobbits as an upgrade like the dunedain and if they were tocuhed up a bit, they could become a early raid unit
and then you wouldnt really need them on fortress maps

750-100 and then another 500 for the actual building? Waaay too much for 'super basic' units, why wouldnt you just build a 300 barracks and get normal soldiers?

agreed. charging that much just to have access to them defeats their role as an early unit and makes them the worst mid-game unit in the mod :p

IMO, u should automatically get hobbit allies when paying 300-600 for a beacon and still have their houses cost 25 resources :p

And use my Hobbit unit ideas so they're viable as raiders ;D

hey as i have posted in mod status topic about RJ Rob . i like to have Arathorn last king of the dunedain and father of aragorn added to to arnor heroes because thats a key puzzle missing in arnor faction because aragorn was Arathorn's last hope for dunedain survival as last heir to the throne of the men of the west and so gondor arathorn was killed at the battle of taurdall city of the dunedain when aragorn was just 9 years old and on his deathbed he order that aragorn must be brought to rivendell to grow and educate in secret in gandalf's care untill hes ready to reclaim the throne after that when aragorn arived all of the dunedain were defated by a legions of gundabad orcs and sauron's right hand in the west Shaknar but 1 company survied the grey company of halbarad of the dunedain that later helped aragorn in gondor .
so to the point make him Arathorn last king of the dunedain a 2 handed swordsman with 2e weapon set bow and brown dunedain suit if you google his name youll find much pictures about him.

it would be a nice addition to Arnor .

Yeah , I agree with you ! Arathorn would be a good heroe , mostly an support hero since he was one of the last Dunedain chieftain's .But Last Hope is just a movie , so it's quite difficult to fit with Tolkien's story. Moreover , Arnor has been destroyed by this time.
