You can make the maps larger if you want. I'm sure people will play 2v2s and such and just double up on factions. And at worst, you just have 2 people playing on a larger map.

Geonosis was the only one done, I had an ice-themed one about 50% completed but feel free to work on whatever you want.

So I don't know if anything's been happening since that last update on the mod, or whether anyone managed to find Ed, but this is just a little post to let you know that i haven't forgotten about the map, and that it's slowly being worked on whenever i get a spare chance ^_^

It's all very rough and incomplete at the moment, but these few screens just show a little of how the texturing and general layout will hopefully look. I also managed to work out a map.ini to fade out the trees when the camera passes over them, so you'll be able to see and move units underneath the giant tree roots :grin:

I really hope work gradually starts up again, because i love this mod, and i'm sure i'm not the only one who would like to atleast see a limited alpha version released. I think there'd be some interest if you tried to start some recruiting - even i'd sign up and help out if you wanted (though my modding skills are pretty limited to maps, 2d art and audio :p).

Ya, we need recruits, to help get the work done, there is a mammoth amount to do. Another modeller/animator would be a godsend :rolleyes: Your map is coming on fine and kudos on the fade code for the trees. Perhaps you could make the map a little bigger? It'd be great to get a massive map for two players... more room to explorer more area to conquer. Thank you very much for your work.

Thanks :p I haven't touched it for a while now, but i've since finished texturing and most of the props. Once the uni year ends (in about 3 weeks) it shouldn't take long to finish it off.

And yeah the goblin buildings did look alright. Though they're more just placeholding at the moment. Eventually some custom props would be amazing, but obviously that's not a priority at the moment.

And i did make it a little bigger, though all the water is walkable too, so i didn't want to make it too massive. I'll likely be doing a few more Star Wars maps, so there's always opportunity for some huge 2P maps :p

Kashyyyk is finished :p I think it turned out alright, there's plenty of room to explore and a few different routes to each fortress. And the wroshyr trees worked out pretty well too. I didn't bother with creeps, inns/outposts or wall hubs, but i can always add them in later if need be.

Anyway, here's a few screenies. It'll look better with clone troopers and gunships :p
