For those UK residents that have never seen the comedy show Shooting Stars, I suggest you get yourselves onto iPlayer and have a look. It has to be done because it's bloody funny. British eccentricness at its best. I have been a long time fan but I love the new edition of the character Angelos Epithemiou.
I just fine the character hysterical. It has me in fits of laughter every time I watch it. It's brilliant and so well done.
For those of you that don't know, Shooting Stars is a completely random and nonsensical comedy panel show that is very funny. If you have half an hour to waste, get yourself onto BBC iPlayer and search for it and see what you think
Here are some of my favourite bits of Angelos.
And a brilliant one to finish
Or for an intro on him, have a look at this. Great stuff.

Shooting Stars is a British television comedy panel game broadcast on BBC Two ... Created and hosted by double-act Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, it uses the panel show format as a vehicle for their uniquely surreal, silly and inventive style of humour ... a full series was broadcast starting on 22 September 1995.

Isn't Universe sweeter than crap!? My main concern with SG-1 and Atlantis is that is tried to be 'funny' lots of times, and fail. Universe provides the perfect balance of comedy, action, drama and suspense. And Universe is actually believable as a military show now. Best part of all is that you never know what will happen on the edge of the Universe.Just watched the first episode of the new Stargate series, 'Stargate Universe'. Pretty different than the other series, yet very interesting. Kind of like BSG.

Atlantis = Base in the middle of nowhere that has limited access to rest of forces, and faces newer, more fanatical enemies as well as trade drama. = DS9
Universe = Lost in space in a battleship. = Voyager.
I really hate oversimplified analogies, but this seems obvious.

Oh who cares. As long as its worth watching, its good. But I would compare Universe more too "Lost in Space".
That's all Voyager was anyway... only dumber.

Not a space monster fought yet, but Rush is going insane and the ship is in danger because of a star. Gettin' exiting. And they already used the sling-shot effect, and it's only episode 3!
