Here it is Allathar:

A year ago, there was this happening, and makes me sad. A lot. I cried a lot then. Not as bad as she would have done when they burried her, ofcourse, that's far worse then mine. But then my cousin came and sang this... Anyway, that all happened a year ago. During the holiday.

Anyway, Neth knows some more details :good: Not they come again...

I hate how every female on the planet seems to love vampire crap, regardless of quality.
Being a total douche.

well you guys must not have friends that are girls, because most of my friends that are girls dont like the whole twilight obsession, they find 'insert author of twilight series's name here' has written other books that are way better than twilight.

I was so close... just inches away from making that perfect comment. But I'm nice now or something, so sue me.

I think it's more of a Gothic teenager thing, dunno. Not sure where / who the bulk of fans are.

I know a whole slew of Goth teenagers, and they all loathe Twilight. No, the fanbase consists of 13 year old cellphone abusing, mindless girls. Kinda like Goths, but more colourful.

Aka the facebook/twitter generation.
It has been reported that some victims of rape, during the act, would retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal one, except they weren't being raped. The only way that they realized they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP

Pretty much, yes. I want to burn those companies to the ground for further destroying the last vestiges of proper social contact. Bastards.

Indeed... Man, I loathe those 'social networking' sites. It's all about adding 'friends', posting pictures of yourself and sending eachother messages noone really cares about. Fuck, the most annoying thing is people wanting to add me on Hyves (a social networking site here in Holland) but who can't find me. After which I explain that I'm not part of that brainkilling stuff, because it's annoying having to spend half an hour a day replying on messages and posting 'updates'. Worst of all, the common reaction to that is 'hey, you're kinda right', but noone wants to be the first to quit those sites... Ah well.

Guess we'll have to think up a plan to destroy facebook/twitter/hyves/myspace. Who's with me? ^_^

I resisted for a long time, but then I gave up trying. So many of my friends were organising things via Facebook and using all the various features contained therein that it became too hard to do anything without a Facebook profile. Happily, I've managed to hold back from becoming one of those Facebook whores who update their status fifteen times a day and overuse punctuation without shame.

Allathar, if you want to bring down social networking sites, you have my blessing. I'm all in favour of going back to phone calls wherever possible.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

I have in fact been writing people letters for a while now. Naturally, I only write to those I know will appreciate the effort. It's great, it really improves my English even further. Yeah I know, hard to imagine, right?

It'll be better for them, really. They just don't want to admit that it's annoying as hell having to spend time on those social networking sites. And everyone's doing it, so it's just another 'follow the crowd'.

Which is also it's achilles heel. As soon as people start quitting them, everyone will follow.

I use it to organise and update with friends about events - eg. university open days, World Challenge and house prefect duties. Facebook really helps for that. Not much else I use it for.
If you don't like it, you don't have to use it - no one's forcing you to join. No need to ruin it for others.

Wrong. The likes of Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and even MSN are responsible for degradation of language and social interaction. I don't want to talk to women over MSN because it ruins actual personal conversation in reality, but every single time I meet one they insist on exchanging e-mail adresses and have incredibly long conversations over the internet. It's really fucking terrible.
