Nope AI has basically the same strat but only Easy/Standard skill he gets less resources coming in so produces slower whereas Harder and up he gets more. You can also change the way the AI build up using the AIControlPanel.exe found in the AI project.does the ai change strategies depending on difficulty level?
It should play the exact same as if you were playing against a HARD AI in Skirmish. If still not difficult enough, I would raise the skill level of the campaign.im playing campaign and i don't like to have a handicap over the computer but i do want them to be just as aggressive as they are in hard mode.

Hey Thudo, I read on the Relicnews forums that the Necron Lord in Soulstorm doesn't use the Nightbringer/Deceiver transformations... is that true?
In the single player campaign the transformations get used during the stronghold mission against the Necrons but since those are pre-triggered I suppose it works in a completely different way than in the AI.
I'm pretty sure the Necron Lord used to use the Nightbringer transformation using Dawn of Skirmish 2.60 DC in Dark Crusade though - what changed in Soulstorm? It it fixable in any way?

Yes the AI does convert to Nightbringer but because stupid Iron Lore did not export the AI functions to allow for two choice transformations (remember that DC only had the NB) the AI does not support the Necron Lord's dual-option possession. :( Trust me.. we looked at it deeply even before Mar'08 when SS wasn't even out yet (got an "advanced" copy months before har har). Iron Lore totally botched SS but thats Relic/THQ's fault for the out-source fail. oh well..

So does that mean that with the Dawn of Skirmish Mod in SS, the Necron Lord will still transform into the Nightbringer, but never the Deceiver? Or has the addition of the extra transform choice completely broken it and now he won't turn into either one?
I don't suppose the AI can be instructed to do the equivalent of just 'press UI button in command card position xy' or 'push the "x" hotkey' instead of being given a specific action command?

Piece of Cake! Run the executable and it will extract to where your <installed Dawn Of War folder> is.
Once installed, run the newly placed shortcut on your desktop "DOW Skirmish AI v3.2" or from StartMenu/Programs/"Dawn Of War Skirmish AI Mod". You will know if the modification is running when on the top-left section of the Dawn Of War Main Menu it will display: Dawn Of Skirmish v3.2.
To uninstall this modification, go back to StartMenu/Programs/"DOW Skirmish AI Mod" and choose "Remove Dawn Of Skirmish AI Mod" to remove the modification from Dawn Of War.
**NOTE**
This version of the AI mod will only work with the Soul Storm Expansion.
Hey guys, you said that the dawn of skirmish v3.2 will be displayed on the top left section of game menu (bold section)
but for me, the top left section of the game menu don't have the display Dawn of Skirmish v3.2...izit meant that the file can't be run on my game?
or there's other things that need to consider such as the games originality, or the way i run the file is wrong etc?
appreciate you can give a solution.
