Abuse of the following bugs should not be tolerated:

1) Use of the Lothlorien fortress upgrade Mellyrn Grove without paying for it.

2) No use of the Eye of Sauron to pick up the One Ring.

3) Purchase of Fire Stones for MotE catapults without purchasing it from the blacksmith building.

4) Climbing walls with cavalry.

5) Mumakil not requiring Command Points. Please don't build eighty thousand Mumakil.

Abuse of the following imbalances should not be tolerated:

1) Overuse of the Wights created from Morgul Blade spells or the Angmar sorceror Well of Souls spell.

since we're kind of in between ring systems atm, they should probably be disabled for tournament matches.

So, been playing the RJ mod for a while and it's pretty freakin' sweet. Noticed this tournament getting started and I thought, "Why not?"

If there's still room I'd love to join. GMT-6.

(I just joined the forums and thus am working on getting my profile/avatar/etc. set up)

Sign me up as a maybe. It depends on when the tourney starts.

All maps will take place on FoI2

Don't you mean "All matches will use the map FoI2" or "All matches will take place on FoI2?"

I just went through the RJ 1.06 bug report topic and added in any that I thought could constitute bug abuse. I did not check to make sure that they actually worked or not. If people just play normally, they should be fine.

Oh, and several people reported cavalry randomly climbing walls, so I'm relatively sure it's a real bug, but I don't think anybody knows what triggers it and it apparently doesn't happen all the time. The only bugs that I think really change the outcome of the match are the wight OP-ness and possibly the Mellyrn Grove upgrade bug.

AotD is very OP against factions that have no counter to it, but astonishingly weak against factions with a counter. For instance, never go for AotD against Elves with Silverthorn arrows because Silverthorn deals magic damage, which is the only thing (AFAIK) that kills AotD. If you're playing an Angmar player that can use Sorcerors well, your AotD summon will fall quickly to Corpse Rain, or if he doesn't have that, he can at least use Soul Freeze to wear down the timer (I think. Soul Freeze might actually stop the timer, I don't know.)

On the flip side, factions like the Dwarves have NO counters to AotD. Combined with their slow move speed, the only thing you can hope for if you're Dwarves and AotD is used on you is that maybe your heroes will reach a mineshaft before they're slaughtered.
