Found new 80's style artist that's got some sweet grooves. Thomas Barrandon, Game of thrones-like name, I must say.

Seems David solved the question of what is the perfect white man's dance before he died: Epileptic body thrashing while standing still.

Along with scarecrow crucification with hip gyration. which seems to require a bit more of a setup.

I miss David Bowie and some of his songs.

But anyways.... A little late to post this:

Ah, Psy was great in Gangnam Style and Gentlemen but Hangover was too low and so is this one. Nothing new in the dancing actually and so is the weird hearing of rap music.

I guess the Gangnam Style years are over.

So you posted a song you don't actually like in an 'awesome music' topic? :p

To be fair, a lot of (dumb) people think it's awesome.  So culturally, an awe inspiring song.  Just not to folk who know better.

Let me balance the scales:

Why orchestrate when you can synthesize? One of my favourite soundtracks from a very cool, strange movie. Play the whole playlist, lots of synthesizers and wackiness mixed with classical compositions.

Hmm... that's alright.  The synthetic orchestra is always a treat, but when it comes to an old fashion swooning, I prefer the sticks and stones sort.  But I do have a few electrified favorites from the cabinet.

Its time to kill off the old blood. Out with the old, in with the new! 3rd density restrictions are being cut down! You wanna know who god is? LOOK IN THE FUCKING MIRROR! Welcome back, my fallen brethren. It has never been easier to crawl out of slavery, and reclaim your own personal throne. REJOICE!

Lord of duality
Son of our supreme almighty lord
Cometh forth upon us mere mortals
Grace us with your power divine
Bless us with your power infernal
Abhor us with your disdain

Upon this netherworld of flame
The abode of death
It welcomes me with open arms
As it is so
Emerging from the darkest shadows
Lies truth beyond life
Eternal fire envisaged
As it must be... ave infernus

He who now must enter
Bow down before your maker
And to what end
Shall you prey
For we know not what is to come
Kneel down, gaze upon your master
Amidst the smoke of uprising host
For all that has befallen you
May your penance pave thy way

Shall I descend into darkness
Torn asunder til' death
What occupies me is everblack
For it hath overcome my soul
Afloat upon the seas of void
In bleak depths of tide
Washed ashore upon the Styx
Ave infernus

He who now must enter
Bow down before your maker
And to what end
Shall you pray
For we know not what is to come
Kneel down, gaze upon your master
Amidst the smoke of uprising host
For all that has befallen you
May your penance pave thy way

Time to say farewell to our father of mankind
Lamentation of a life once known
Time to say farewell
Time to say farewell
To all you hold sacred
Time to say farewell to our father of mankind

DO YOU SEE THIS ASSHOLE? DO YOU?! HE DEMANDS THE THRONE!

ARE YOU JUST GONNA LET HIM TAKE IT?

maxresdefault.jpg

To kill this guy, you need some fucking help. Call upon the elements, then throw a shit tone of lava on their faces. Chant your fucking asses off so hard, that literally, your ass flesh gets sheared right off of your ass bones! YOU FUCKING DULLARD.

Call for the apocalypse - which means change, by the way. Not destruction. Although thru destruction of ideals and codices, one can bring change. Spicy changes!

ITS TIME TO TAKE A BREAK FROM YOUR GAY JOBS, AND FUCK YOUR SOUL, for a bit. Your soul hasn't had this much stimulus in a while, admit it! You've been slacking.

You've been a nice little wage slave - ALL YOU'VE DONE IS CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR MASTER'S STRENGTH, HE LOVES IT WHEN YOU CONSENT. THROUGH SUBCONSCIOUS MANIPULATION, YOU OBEY - WITH A SMILE ON YOUR FACE!

Its time to FUCK your slave master right back HARD. GET GOING YOU SLOPPY RETARD (retard: to slow; you're too slow). SPEED UP THE PROCESS ALREADY!

BLAST THOSE FUCKING DRUMS BEYOND THIS DIMENSION. SHRED THOSE STRINGS BEYOND 3rd DENSITY COMPREHENSION. A JUMP START IS NEEDED. WE'VE BEEN STUCK IN STAGNATION!

AVEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And FUCK, your nation - TO PIECES:

O, gods of fire, volcanic lava
O, gods of flame, of this molten mass, ave!

O, gods of fire, bringer of darkness
O, gods of flame, harbringer of hate
O, gods of fury, we are of the coven
O, gods of rage, lords of the serpent
We pray for your emergency

Chants in declaration
For the gods of demise
Chants in declaration

Awaken beasts of the deep
Through the rites of passage
I invoke thee to appear
I summon forth your power

Chants in declaration
For the gods of demise
Chants in declaration
For the almighty gods of demise

Arise, o things of the abyss
Through the rites of passage
I implore thee to appear
I summon worth your knowledge

O, gods of fire, volcanic lava
O, gods of flame, of this molten mass, ave!

Just watch out. WATCH THE FUCK OUT. Make sure you kill the traitors. Here is the traitor's theme song and mantra, plus lyrics, all smashed into one musical noisy thing:

Ladies and Gentlemen, the khazarian mafia, fucking your lives since 500 AD, AND THEN SOME:

(HEAVIEST SONG IN THE WORLD CANDIDATE RIGHT HERE:

We are legions
Hidden through the ages

Secret among secret, embedded in masses, we're acting
Manipulating, killing by necessity, we're protecting

Soracle's prophecy
Adam and Edaenia
The next humanity
Your future

From the first men
From the earliest civilizations

With the passing time, we've adapted ourselves
To depend on no one, here's our principle
Technology, economy, politics, ecology
Dominate all domains, here is our strength

Obsequium Minaris
Soracle's legions
Chosen among the chosen
Guardians of the prohecy
Obsequium Minaris
Soracle's legions
Chosen among the chosen
Guarantor of Edaenia

We've fought barbarians, warriors, zealots
Whatever the means, Adam has been protected
We've defeated peoples, kingdoms, religions
Whatever the means, the cave has remained a secret

Overpopulation, misery
Disfigured environment

^ ^ ^ ^ Let Russia help you get rid of these pricks. ^ ^ ^ ^

These khazarian fucks got you by the balls. Just recently, your sovereignty keeps getting beaten to a pulp, lifetime after lifetime, incarnation after incarnation; even as of right now, your will is still struggling against petty external ego riflings of the soul, to ensure life time discomfort, lifetime obedience through utter lack.

You don't know who you are. You have no fucking clue why such a body would exist. Science is close, but still piss poor.

But fear not! Its just a giant distraction. You are your own god. Go forth and dictate..

... its unfortunate that most people don't. We end up cattle! We end up as pegs, endless pegs of consciousness, on a board that which is a plane of existence that YOU DO NOT HAVE PROPER ACCESS TO!. So damn bogged down by CHAOS, reincarnation way too many times, get diluted... become stuck. Repetition. Born again to do the same life over and over. So addictive is unrestrained 3rd density vessel. Add some amnesia with every reincarnation, and BOOM! Have fun! Its a fucking giant playground, to keep pushing the final frontier of dualistic consciousness...

Technically, since we can't resist - otherwise we wouldn't be here; its entertaining, why wouldn't you be here?

Enslaved, if only slightly. Keep coming back for more.:

(ACTUALLY NO, THIS ONE'S PRETTY FUCKING HEAVY TOO! TWO CANDIDATES, BITCH, FOR PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT HEAVY MUSIC IS)

I'm a newborn granted the opportunity to live
Future representative of my race, I have been chosen
I've seen many others that have been ripped apart
Is it a crime to regulate one's own for the rest to survive?

I'm an old man granted the right to rot
First guinea pig of my race, I have been chosen
I've seen many others that have been deconnected
Is it a crime to regulate one's own for the rest to survive?

I'm a mother granted the opportunity to give birth
Scientists' ultimate creator, I've been impregnated
I've seen abnormal females that have been suffocated
Isn't it right for healthy surrogate mothers to live on?

Be the foundation stone
Assert your creators' survival
Be the foundation stone
Assert your creators' survival

Tell me what use you are to know if you will survive
Give me your abilities and I'll keep you alive
If not die

I'm a poor man granted the opportunity to work
As a new thinker among my brothers, I've been recognized
I've seen unsuccessful men whose lives were terminated
Isn't it justice that the best amongst us win?

I'm a model granted a chance to be cloned
My fathers' ancient prototype, I have been made
Dismantled 'cause of my obsolete structure, I've declined
Why can't development pioneers be a part of the death-dealing elite?

Too much to scroll through, didn't listen :p

Either way, newest Dream Theater album was released today. Saw some reviewers saying that it's a great improvement to the previous albums. also, concept album, thirty two songs, two and a half hour long, so something to listen to.

One of my absolute favourite bands and although they don't make bad music by any means, they have slipped into sounding completely average (for Dream Theater) since, and including, Black Clouds And Silver Linings. Everything they do nowadays sounds so safe, whereas previously they had a dangerously proggy side that would kick some ass. Now they're a little too settled and secure in their sound and it all seems too formulated like I've heard it from them before. The Astonishing is a perfect example of that, the story is very average, generic *dramatic* fantasy with clear good and bad, whereas Metropolis Pt. 2 was really an oddly small scale story to tell through musical form, which made it all the more interesting. Not to bring up band divisions, but I do think Portnoy had a point when he wanted them to take a break, even though I did very much enjoy their self titled album, it just didn't kick me in the balls.

Saying all that I am going to see this live because they're performing the whole album with a bit of a show wrapped around it, and I've never seen them before.

Gotten halfway through it so far, can't say I can hear much new stuff yet myself. At least Labrie gets to do various roles that brings out the variations of his voice a bit more.

Buhh... Dream Theater just isn't worth anyone's time anymore.  Their writers need to have a near death experience or something, just so they get inspiration of some sort.

Mediocre songs of late.  I think it's time we have another Brain Storm.

On rare occasion, something of worth slips from the slimy clutches of the French.  I have no idea what they're saying, but I somehow prefer it over the English version:

Could have sworn that was the credit song in Twisted Metal: Black, but I hear that's mostly the original.

either way, have to finish watching the berserk movies that came out the last few years soon, the music is pretty damn nice.
