Hmm... a one-eyed skull... reminds me of something.

Spoiler

I quite like that.  I think I'll give it a listen while I work.

Have I posted this before?

Maybe. It's pretty awesome, though. Plus, they're from the city I used to live in.

Heh, carpenter badger* clothing style on those guys, the contrast is nice with the modern equipment.

*=(a local trend in certain parts of Norway/nordics these days where people dress with older clothing and learn old arts and crafts. My second cousin is a professional in restoring ancient houses with all the old techniques and it's practically a requirement that they dress up with suspenders, wool trousers and sixpence)

Either way, still get religious from Metal Gear Solid V music. Hoping that whatever Kojima does next he does with the same style of music.

Hmm... The MGS 5 soundtrack was a bit disappointing.  Sins of the Father is quality, but beyond that, there aren't many other original tracks that are remarkable.

And if you're curious if Kojima is a one trick pony when it comes to his OST's, then curio no more.  Zone of Enders had a very similar soundtrack to how MGS was designed, just muddied down with nonsense Japanese lyrics.

This is the fastest music video to hit over 1 billion views in just a few months:

Probably this is the one of the recent and most popular songs that most people shall recognize that don't use any auto-tuning, rap or hip-hop at all.

But IMO, Adele's Skyfall sounds better than Hello.

Before Lady Gaga sang one of her best songs ever, there was this: http://www.billboard...whitney-beyonce

After that, she deserved to be in the top 10 spot:

On the reverse, there was this:

This is the *awesome* music topic, not the most-hits-on-youtube or national-anthem-fails music topic.

Well at least I would have posted in Video of the Day. I kinda forgot about that.

Here's another electronic/instrumental song I came across with, rare but not forgotten:

Me likes.

Also, found some nice melancholic cover when looking for Baba Yetu covers, figured it deserved a share.

Also, Sans deserves a cover song for his fight:

You know... as much as I dig the Undertale soundtrack, I don't care much for Megalovania.  The Sans fight is probably one of the greatest boss fights ever designed, but the track is just too much noise for me.

And Com, that song is alright, but I loved the hair in the video.  Swish.  If only those perms could talk...

Now for something completely different.

I'd love to have seen Doom try to rip this one off. If it had done, it might've sounded a little bit like this.

Xcom 2 is the game that I've been listening mostly to lately, so I guess the prep-song deserves a share here.

Good lord... I've heard enough of that song for several lifetimes.  I dunno... Xcom 2 has a great situational soundtrack.  As in, it's great ingame, but not great to listen to outside of that context.

Bit like LOTR I guess. I can't listen to that soundtrack without reminiscing the movies.

This song you can keep on for quite some time compared to the former one, though.

Yea, that's alright.  Actually... there is a bit of pre-combat music that I recall being decent as well.  Then again, I got so sick of the in-game music after a few hours, so I ended up just muting it and playing the Hotline Miami 2 OST.  It surprisingly fits well.

I guess that might work too. I also noticed deadpool voice pack is a popular mod for the game, which I might have to try one day.

Hmm, more of Mr. Robot's soundtrack has come out online as of yet, and the song "opening Prison Gates" reminds me of some good old Dune: Emperor Ordos music.
