Torches > flashlight. Torch is the original, and its retained that name through the ages, as it should.
What i find most annoying is that my spelling checker, despite being set to Australian English, still half the time corrects to American English over proper English, despite the fact it should actually correct to the English version as Australia does not use American spelling.

I've seriously considered warning both of them for it. It's gone on too long.
EDIT: Elven already warned Matias, and Matias was doing most of the flaming.
