Buzz kill.

When the internet gets made into a real place, we can go a-conquering. :)

Let's see how much bloggers enjoy their freedom then.

They'll be like wandering minstrels, hopping from domain to domain, earning their keep at the renfaires and LAN parties, doing their best to avoid the roaming bands of trolls. What a world it shall be...

What, all that bullshit about the internet if it was a real place? It'd be nothing like the idyll Vort described.

The real world isn't so densely populated with as many douchecrocks as the internet. Even this one forum is a clear example. Check the memberslist. The vast majority are total arseheads. The rest are zero-posters and bot registrations. :thumbsupsmiley:

At least in the real world there's a statistical likelihood of meeting someone who isn't a wanker. Hell, even the people who are wankers on the net aren't so much offline. It must be something that happens when we're sat at a screen. The brain sees a web browser load up, and sets the asshole rating up to eleven.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

It's nice to know that you thought of XKCD too, though. :thumbsupsmiley:

I'd rather a virtual reality program to carry on life after death than...

That parody of a map.

EDIT: What the hell? Soviet Russia?

Speaking of accurate maps, here is the plan for the new world order:

Ireland, Wales, France and Spain all appear in 'the civilised world' on your map. Remove them, and I'll agree with you more readily.

Don't worry Ash. Lame countries like them have been purged of life and replaced with greater civilizations.

Such as the Scottish :p :tongevil:
But I don't agree with the Twighlight Fans island, that should be only for the ones who lie the movie

No. Twilight island will be the host to every Twilight fan. And they will be given immortality so they can suffer through listening to other fans for eternity.

@ Vort: That was actually the map I was thinking of... :p

@ Pas: And they'll divide themselves into factions depending on who likes which character, dress themselves in animal skins, and go to war.

That's why we put them away from civilization, so we don't have to hear about it.

Guys, just stay away from Furry Island. There's some serious violent cosplay going down there. There's going to be a whole war between the lizards, the big cats, the birds and the whatever the hell else they dress up as. They'll start using teeth and claws and it'll be crazy, then they'll get invaded by the vampire fetish community and then nobody wins.

Irrespective of what fanboy island these folks get shipped off to, it'll probably be a great test bed for our nuclear weapons!

And Nethelen Narçu (why do you T3A types have impossible names? How do you even log that one in with the cedilla?!), this is the reason you are wrong. Scotland is so depressing even the dogs are offing themselves to escape.

As long as we ensure that the Twilight fans have no internet connection. Heck, we shipped Pasidon to Antarctica and he still kept in touch, then moved back. Didn't get the message at all.
