Allright, this has been up before, in the gigantic topic for the dwarven faction... Can't swim in all those posts, so let's do it here in a topic of its own...
I want to get started on adding all the heroes for Erebor! This is what we got:

Non dwarven heroes:
- Bilbo
- Brand, son of Bain, grandson of Bard the Dragon Slayer
- Eagle (will be removed!)

Dwarven heroes B4.5:
- Dain, king of Erebor
- Gloin, father of Gimli
- Gimli, of the Fellowship

Additional dwarven heroes for Beta 4.7:
- Thorin III Stonehelm, son of Dain, heir to the throne
- Dwalin, son of Fundin, brother of Balin

...and... maybe ONE more, but in that case... whom? Lore guys... any suggestions?

EDIT: Who do you think we see here? I would assume... Thorin III Stonehelm, Gloin and Dain?



Here's is the model for Thorin - donated to SEE from Ithronaiwendil (Juissi). A model that never made it into WotE cause of a binding error. It's fixed now and with Theoden's anims and a sword, he ROCKS! I really like him! The only thing I will do is reskin the shield...

Here's another version/idea for Thorin modeled by Lauri... A really cool looking buff model. A bit unpersonal maybe, with the Khazad helmet? This was meant to be Thorin before I got the other model above... Two REALLY good models regardless

You made those textures nazgul? Looks very nice, I'm not educated enough in the world of lord of the rings. But to go a bit off topic, what about the moria heroes? There are 3 of them...And the textures, is it possible to hire you?

Nearly any Dwarf would fit as well as Dwalin.

Here are those of Thorin's company who didn't die in the Battle of Five armies or in Moria:

Dwalin (already in, so not much to say. Survived into the fourth age, likely fought during the wotr)
Dori (no record of fighting in the wotr, but likely fought at dale)
Nori (same as Dori, so it would be hard to choose between them. I would only think of putting them is as a hero horde, but with Ori dead it's kinda weird)
Gloin (already in,)
Bifur (similar situation as Dori and Nori, cousin of Bombur and Bofur)
Bofur (same thing.)
Bombur (too fat)

Bifur seems the most probable, as he doesn't have a brother who is just like him. He wouldn't be a bad choice.

I don't know of any others who would be good.

Thanks for the suggestions... Maybe 2 more will be enough though =) At tops... 3! And if so, we'll go with one of those I guess ^

@Hermoor: You seriously need to READ more before you post... Check the screen shot topic for instance... =p And no you can't hire me, and those are not my skins. I made or edited most skins in SEE, but some of them are left untouched. Like these... The Modeler in question made them ^ Ithron and Lauri. I will edit the shield for Thorin though, with more high res texture...

I think Dori would be good. It says on Tolkien Gateway that Dori lived very rich after the quest and was alive druing the War of the Ring. It is even thought that he was in the Battle of Dale.

But, if you want to have someone with a cool history in Moria, Ori would be the one. Tolkien Gateway says that Ori wrote the last few pages of the Book (the one that is very famous in the movie). His writing is pretty famous...

if there's no model right now for dwalin, why not give him the axethrower model? i honestly think there shouldn't be too many heroes... or else it just becomes like motw or the elves

however, if you do add someone new, add Durin VII, Thorin Stonehelm's son. I read in one of these forums that Durin would have been about 40 at the time of the WotR, so he would have been a young adult, and most likely fought.

I think Balin Deserves a spot before Ori.

And the thing with Dori is, Nori is exactly the same, so it's hard to choose one of them, but Ori can't be with them cause he's dead. Bifur is in the same position, but he isn't tied up by his brother.

I think they already have a Dwalin Model.

Ah! I forgot that he still had to be alive. I just got caught up with the whole Book thing.

What about khamulrulz's idea about Durin VII? Would he work better?

I don't know. TG doesn't say when he was born. I think it's safe to assume that no one knows how old he was...

NOTE: khamulrulz said in his post that he read on one of the forums that Durin was about forty during WotR.

Since he don't have a role in WoTR,I think it best to just leave him be and find someone else.

How about Dori,Nori?

It possible they will have role in Battle of Dale,But that just my thought

We were already dicussing that. Nori and Dori are the same pretty much...the only thing that seperates Dori from Nori is that he was very wealthy after the quest.
