EPIC. Incredible work! :xd:
Ignited into the world in a flash of lightning, it gleams faintly in the heart of its mother, wood. It begins as an ember, a mere wisp of heat and colour. Its chance of survival at this critical moment is minute, yet it fights on, against the unforgiving cold, against the depths of night and against its mortal enemy: rain.

I think Balin's tomb was set between two different halls (there was a wall going all the way down.) In the book, the second hall was a day or two down through the tunnels from the other side of the tomb, but in the movies they just went straight there.
Greetings, community.

So I was certain I said somewhere I had lost my originla map when my HD crashed a few years ago...... anyway I have started this map over again. I discovered a faster way to place the columns, jesus did it take hours doing each one individually. I finished the columns in about 30 minutes by copy pasting large groups of them.

I assume you had the RJ-mod downloaded? I do remember playing this map!

I don't think I ever released it though. It was only on my hard drive.

Yes, it does look better. It will be a map to remember.

Wow I like you know it'll be kool if a creeper army of goblins would attack bases every 15 mins to bring it more into a infested place... just an idea :)

Its not a bad idea,i just don't think it meshes well with the existing moria faction. I can't see them going and fighting each other .I plan to stick with goblin creeps though.

I can't help but to think that this map looks incredibly dull to play. It's just too open. I don't know how far you've gotten, but it seems very dull and empty. Yes, I know there's a fair amount of columns, but you get my point :p Take away those and there's no scenery, no collapsed caves, or walls. No hallways, no corridors, no nothing. Just a gigantic open area, with Balin's tomb (of no use) in the middle.

Just my cents

What Lauri said. I don't see any interesting possibilities for strategic gameplay.

The original map had larger chasms. Maybe that would work better?

Maybe add other side rooms in addition to Balin's tomb. Tunnels and hallways could also be interesting. I'd kind of find it hard to believe that Dwarrowdelf- a fairly large city of the dwarves- was just a bunch of columns. A city would probably include many other areas and rooms.
