Heh, so he even has own band too?

Oztronix BIO:
OzTronix started work in Melbourne in the early 1990's,
did several gigs and produced several records,
including a fan-special 10-song CD, which was mastered at the band-owned studio.

The initial lineup was Mark Fogarty (guitars, vocals),
Michael Vranic (guitars/vocals/AV production),
Brian and Simon (keyboards & drums).
The style was Hard Rock. The band was called 'Foghorn' until 2001.

During 2001, the band changed its name and structure:
Michael and Mark (guitars/vocals/keyboards, production...)
Lisa Patterson (bass/vocals/multi-instrumentalist).
Several other changeable female vocalists also cooperate with the band frequently...

I'm beginning to wonder if thats also all made up shit and he just took some random music together and make money off it at cdbaby.com not to mention Dr. Michael....
and he even mentions company...

Messed up and individuals like him just no doubt make people consider more than once about doing public mod releases :tongevil:

I don't think anyone really releases anything onto the internet without the knowledge they can be ripped off very easily. A tiny minority of people who seek to do that shouldn't put anyone off.

Contacted the host (Box net) via Twitter and was told "Hi, thanks for pointing it out, unfortunately we can't do anything until EA directs us to take it down.".
I found another e-mail address for Apoc so I've dropped him another e-mail.

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, IF THERE IS ANY SANITY LEFT OVER THERE
RED ALERT MILLENIUM - THE TRUE STORY
When your madness finally stops and you are are ready for the truth about
TRUE story of the past, (1.4) and current state of Red Alert Millenium(1.5):
Thanks to Aro exactly, we have discovered that assets used in v1.4 listed
on couple of freeware sites (ihow did they get there, DAZ ?) have been
actually copyrighted. (aw: how could the Westwood concept be "copyrighted"
by te modders ?). (or by the EA, either, after that money treachery: Westwood
going to EA, ?). (we feel betrayed by that, and you?) (remember: we are with
Westwood, from the days of Dune II, and HATE the fact that Westwood is
SOLD OUT for the money, and will NEVER FORGIVE THAT FACT TO THEM).

Anyways:
We did our best, after finding out about the "copyright" issue - to remove
all of the third-party content, and discard the v1.4. So: here's what we did,
we have redone all from the scratch and thus - created our own extracted art
(which some of you will call "copyrighted" and we never do that since belongs t
o Westwood) and rendered it in our own version (just like you guys do), so
we now have a new version (v1.5) free of third party content, as much as p
ossible, and the cleaning will be continued in the future version as well, when
ever such content is identified, for all of the future versions of RA Millenium.
Once for all:
WE DON'T NEED YOUR STUFF, and are tallented enough to do our own anytime.

As much as talking to people has the effect: now you know it, and ARE
contacted by us directly, without going backstabbing the google IP enforcement
teams, admins os gaming websites, and who knows what behind the people's backs
like you do. that's not nice, it's LOW AS YOU CAN GET, and COWARDLY.
We hope you are really proud helping us this way, but: what you do is DUMB,
it will NOT stop our production, and look the miracle: your "copyrighted" stuff
will be kicked out of RA Millenium whenever found in the future versions...
Remember: we do not backstab people like you do (and have learned that from
your patetic Kane) IF WE HAVE THE ISSUE - WE TALK TO THEM FIRST, LIKE HERE.
As for the Aro: we hope your mod will some day come out, before we're all gone,
and, send us the link, we'd like to play (no we don't need your stuff, but are the
gamers at the first place, and like what we do, and now get attacked for it, as we see).
To all others - please, use any of our rendered art, and any time you like if it helps
to START your mod, or your work in any way, but we hope you will not graduate in
backstabbing people, but in being honest, like Hans Wurst did, by contacting them
first, before making the damage to their production all over the net like you did.
(thanks, Hans (AKA "Raminator") you are much better than rest of them)

This is to clarify the situation with Red Alert Millenium ONCE FOR ALL.
So, we say, please:
BE HONEST AND STOP SPITTING AROUND, ABOUT US. - WE DON'T NEED ANYONE'S
CONTENT, AND SPECIALLY NOT IF COPYRIGHTED !
YOU HAVE MADE ENOUGH DAMAGE - WE HAVE CORRECTED OUR MISTAKE NOW -
HOW ABOUT YOU ?

Michael and red Alert Millenium Development Team.
We have been there since days of DUNE II.

lol $35!!! You must be desperate for cash and STOP referring to yourself as WE as you not have a team, your just single guy.

Well, if that screenshot is up to date ,your atleast working off ra1 assets... the problem there is then, your selling westwood/EA property without working it out with them... There is an "REASON" MODS are generally not sold and that is regardless of the fact you've made it stand-alone.

Luckily for you, EA is unlikely to care, else you'd be dragged to court and lose badly...

He even has a pack of moding tools he is charging $5 for, most likely XCC utilities & Tibed...

TBH I don't care what he does now, no one in there right mind is going to pay $35 for his crappy mod so he can't stir up any more trouble with it.

I'd post relevant excerpts from the Theft Act 1969 and the Fraud Act 2006, except that this guy looks to be Australian, and English law doesn't apply there. :ermm:

Not to worry. Nobody in their right mind is going to pay that kind of money to download a bloody mod. You can buy the full fucking game for less than a fiver these days, and download each of those tools and mods for free, in their original and untainted format.

I would normally be nerdraged about now but this delusional little fuckwit is hardly worth that sort of stress and effort. Instead just cover his shitty no-bandwidth google webshite with posts that expose him as a thief. In fact, set up a bot to repost such messages every ten seconds.

I like the way you're constantly referred to as "the Aro", as if you're not really a person, but a title that gets passed on. :p
