What is the purpose of the Signal Fire Monument? I'm not really "feeling it". However, all the others especially the arrow tower and the fountain expansion look really nice.

It looks like a Beacon of Gondor. Maybe you can call some Gondor reinforcements with it :p

I like the arrow expansion, really cool, but I don't know what's the beacon's purpose. That was for calling Rohan to aid Gondor not the other way around (at least in the movies), so I don't really get it. :p

I think a big horn would better work for Rohan. Like the one in Helm's Deep. That one could make the enemy all over tha map cover in fear, and double the trample damage. That would better suit the faction, but it's your call.

Still, awesome work :p , I cannot wait to play the Rohan faction. But I think we'll have to wait 'til beta 4.8, correct?

BTW, i like what u've done with the fort, CTLN likes it too, not just cuz he made the 'basic' :p

love the look of it - i agree with predi about the monument. the horn of helm hammerhand, like seen in the films blown by gimli would be cool. it could give all cavalry heroic charge, and like predi said make all enemies cower in fear for a long duration.

as for expansions, instead of a catapult expansion, i think a cool idea would be a spearthrower/stonethrower expansion, like the guys seen in the movie. also rohan wasn't really shown as having catapults. i think another mod has done the spearthrower/stonethrower expansion with success (rc/rj/edain?).

i love how there is finally an update! hopefully now that summer has rolled around we can get more..

- We could use the platform of the Catapult for other things too. Like a few units of Rohan archers or spear throwers... :)

- The Signal Tower will be used for powerful summons. Most likely to summon hordes of Gondor units :p

I know I'm probably biased towards my ideas, but I still think that the "Horn of Helm Hammerhand" would be a good final monument upgrade for the Rohan fortress, giving:
-An extended Heroic charge to all cavalry near the fortress, including heroes
-Causes all enemies to cower in fear for a long duration (longer than cloud break)
-Gives extra leadership bonuses to friendly troops (like a heroic statue)

So overall it's a massive support monument, which is unique from the other factions, and the horn of Helm Hammerhand fits Rohan more than a signal tower summoning Gondor troops (the beacons were only used in the reverse direction).

But your judgment for the mod is better than mine of course, and I just can't wait til all of the changes in the past years of development get released!

I too would like to see the Horn as a fortress monument, and not just because it was my idea ;) , but also for it is better suited for the faction. And I don't know what would be the purpose of the Signal Tower? Summoning gondorian troops? That would be better suited as a spell book power. I don't want to sound demanding, but I would like you to clarify this for all of us, to stop us from complaining :p

Also a new ide came to my mind. A big bell in a tower, and if its power is used it would act like a "Call the Horde" power . Remember, in the movie there was the scene after the signal fire lighting sequence where a soldier rang a a bell, and the Rohirrim started to mobilize their forces.

Anyways, it's your mod Nazgul, so you decide what will be what, and how, so that's it. And we wouldn't want TT to get into unnecessary modeling, do we? ;)

The the Rohan Fortress is 100% complete in models, so I seriously doubt we'd make any changes... At least not for this beta. Sorry dudes =p
