As far as I know, if the object's centre (the black dot/hexagon) is outside of the map's borders, then it won't appear on the map. Probably. It'll most likely be invisible.
Thx for the info, rly helps me

I had the black dot/hexagon within the map's border and the Barad-dur building still "vanish".
What to do then?

What is the object specifically called? Where is its parent location?
BaraDur7
ByNativeType-Mordor-STRUCTURE-BaraDur7 (BaraDur and BaraDurCINE could be used be used too, mayby...)
Could it be invisible because I take the object and multiply the size 30-50 times and taking down Z position -1200/-2000 (kinda have to do this to make the building look good, and be playable)?

Either way, don't use BaraDurCINE. All cine objects (denoted by name or in the ini files) do not show up on maps, without alterations to game files.

Though i could be wrong, but try raising it to -900 or so, see if that works

I've found that anything sunk around 1000 ft below the map terrain dissapears. I think it's probably to do with the object icon being too far away for the units/camera to see it, and so it doesn't render the object as a result.

Tried it, and OMG it worked perfectly!!!!
Many thx Haldir

Id suggest that you paint the terrain on the sides of your bridge using the invisble brush.... though im not sure if BFME has that option. I know bfme2 does. Anyway when you do that it will make the bridge look like its suspended above the lava. just be sure to not paint the top only do the sides.
thx alot
