Yeah, Contra is a Russian mod, but what i think is really annoying to most English people is when no-one understands you, its hard to start a game then. That's the 1 thing I hate about Garena, hardly any English people play it.

Its kinda crap to , the main part about playing online is getting socially active and you get achieve that with a fucking language barrier , sure you can play and shit but when it comes down to discussing things after games or improving relationships with your peers its Ruined , ill stick to hamachi and to people that know English (It suprizes me some people don't) because its just gonna be overall boring win or lose if you can't even talk to your community.

It does not spark innovation or even give people more reason to play , If i get owned by lets say a pro i 9/10 im going to want to ask him How did you do X or what about we play X this time , or start a conversation about something else to see what his interests are , you can't do that with the garana RU players nad IMO it makes contra boring , closing off an entire group of people like that.

Not all Russians are American-hating, Therevenge. Garena can provide you with some basic fighting human opponents (since most of them are not at high skill level) or something to stave off your boredom (after fighting only with AI). I doubt you would see me on Hamachi anytime soon unless you go online in the morning (I'm 12 hours ahead of you). You could play with dcesarec as he's only 7 hours ahead of you.

I play loads of games with Casojin, and he is a good teacher and speeks good english, he also has a good connection. I learned to play C&C3 and a bit of Contra from him. If you are able, you should try to play against him.
