So while Spart and I were playing (Or rather, trying to) we found a bug. The new maps appear to not work multiplayer. We tried with Forlindon, and with a few others, and none worked.

The problem we're getting, is the Host has the map and everything works properly, but to the person joining, the game thinks that they do not have the map, and they cannot change any of their stuff, Army, Team, color...

Hmm, i've never heard of that before :p. I thought usually if one person doesn't have a map, it's uploaded to them at the start of the game. Did the vanilla maps work okay?

Yes once we switched to a vanilla map it worked. I even played with CTLN and the same thing happened with the new maps.

Ah, just had a quick look at the map cache, it seems Rob might have accidentally placed all the maps inside the Nurn map folder. If you take all the new maps out of maps\map mp nurn, it should probably work okay.

FYI, use this topic to post bugs and suggestions. :xcahik_: I'll let this one slide though. :thumbsupsmiley:

Anyways, for the bug, is the map cache wrong? Or are all the actual map files in the wrong folder? Or is it both? I'm on my laptop currently so I can't look right now.

The maps do work in singleplayer though, correct?

Yes they work in single player. I don't know about the map cache being wrong, but all the maps are in the nurn map folder.

The reason I made this topic, is because on a quick glance, that one didn't mention anything about just bugs in general.

Everything from AI bugs to desired campaign changes

just didn't quite fit the bill.

Think he did another mistake, forgetting the comma :thumbsupsmiley:

And you misplaced the comma...

Everything from AI bugs, to desired campaign changes

Everything, from AI bugs to desired campaign changes

Comma placed to emphasise the "Everything", which highlights the fact that you can post any bug in that thread :thumbsupsmiley: AI bugs and campaign changes were just examples.

And to put the dice on the board, there's really no telling what "everything" is between AI bugs and desired campaign changes..
I mean, it's easy to tell "everything" from 2 to 6, but not on this.. :thumbsupsmiley:

Fixed the multiplayer map problem. All new maps should be playable in multiplayer now. :good:
