Attached to this post is an mp3 which is a sampletape of some of the Sound Fx from LWR.
I'll be creating Sound FX for every spell and ability that needs them.
With very little overlap so most spells/abilities will have unique sound FX to go with them.

First off the 6th Beta faction for LWR Beta 0.1 will be Lorien.
I'm currently revising Lorien's tech tree and will be updated on the Tech Tree Index soon.
The second announcement is a new feature I revealed on the Facebook page is the introduction of damaged states for Heroes.
When a hero is heavily damaged the hero now shows it the hero will become bloodied.
Third announcement is the feature I teased in the Celebration topic a while ago.
This new feature goes in with the last one and is "Blood sense".
Essentially when a nearby enemy hero is Really damaged some heroes gain access to new abilities.
One such ability is Gothmog's new Heartstopper which does lethal damage to the target when the enemy hero is critical.
This same feature will be used for various other abilities in the future.
The last thing is that I had planned to release the first Beta by March 1st but it's been pushed back a bit because of the recent changes and revisions as well as my time off last month.
While delayed the new beta will be greatly improved because of it.
I'm working on some very cool new content and working out ways to make Lone Wolf better than ever.

Still, can't see it as really useful.. If there pops up a new power, while an nearby enemy hero is bloody, can the power only be used on that hero, or any hero\unit? Can make it difficult to use in large battles..
Or is it an automatic power triggered when an enemy hero is bloody? Could also mess up some stuff, at least if it's an attack power. If it's simply a WoP-inspired power that is triggered and hits enemy heroes in range it could work, but would then be silly.
You've got any intel on this?

The radius is very small basically melee range technically it can be used on any nearby hero but I'm working on a way to fix that.

Buildings now level up to level 5.
The building upgrades and unit requirements will be changed as well.
This was done to fit in with the various other balance changes and to change the pace of matches a bit.
Building upgrades that came at 1,2 and 3 now change at 1,3 and 5.
It ties into the rebalanced spell costs, the increased Structure health and armour, the unit damage rebalance, hero rebalance, Siege changes and the reworked Elite units and upgrades.
Further changes are planned for most factions.
In other news the Lorien tech tree has been updated.
3 new units, Lady Guards, Maidens, Stables and Riders are gone, 2 new spells and Haldir, Rumil, Orophin and Celeborn have updated abilities.
Update:
I've also updated Dale's tech tree.
They gain a Cavalry archer unit and a new elite unit the Dalic Huscarl.
Some units have been renamed and structures changed.
The spell list has also been updated and so has Siege for Dale.
They are one of the rare factions that can have in base built Siege weapons after getting the Dwarven Workmanship spell.
