I loved the Saruman and Nazgûl bits the most. I think I spotted Easterling armor on one. Khâmul, is that you?

I saw one with Haradrim armour to the upper left, at least.

edit: oh, and Azog's got an upgraded sword-hand-thingie.

I think they will be perfectly visible in The Hobbit: Chronicles :)

Yes, that does look like Haradrim armor...

I had several orgasms.

Also I like that they kept the Iron Hills soldiers design secret. Would have been too much of a spoiler for us artists.

Just a few weeks and we will finally see one of the biggest kings of the end of the 3rd age: Dain. And god we waited long for it...

WOOHOO awesome trailer  :w00t:  :w00t:

It seems Gundabad looks like some red version of Minas Morgul/

Actually I think the one on the right is Khamul, the one with the horns. His mask resembles the Easterlings maksed helmet a lot.

The few seconds where the elven archers fire a volley was cut I think to look as if they were attacking Erebor. How crafty.....  :w00t:

Was it? It looked like they were attacking Dain (or more precisely, his ballistae) to me.

Seeing the big ass crown on the middle one I bet that he is the Witch-King.

We have Dwarves on huge armored boars and others on battle-machine chariots, pulled by armoured mountain goats. There are burrowing creatures – serpent like worms, giant shrews and moles – that might tunnel under the attacking army and come up in the middle of their forces; and great war-trolls specifically trained – and, in some cases, maimed . in order to make them more insane and effective in battle.

-Richard Taylor on the Battle.

Looks like some of the BFME2 Spellbook powers are coming to life.

What do you guys think about the new credits song performed by Billy Boyd?

I think it's quite decent.

Ehh... wat.  What in dog's name is that about?  The instrumental is quite alright, but those lyrics and vocals are just... weird.  It's like it tried to pick up, but that 'orrible whispery man-child voice is just underwhelming.  And I don't even need to mention how it doesn't fit into the RP of watching the movie.  Jackson had to be snorting cocaine off a mithril dagger when he decided that this song needs to go into this movie...

It doesn't go into the movie. It's the credits song.
