Could you provide information of the codes you used for the noldor warriors??
Because I also want to have them in my game too

But I get errors, now it says 'ELVEN_NOLDORWARRIOR_VISION_RANGE'

Could you tell me which ini files did you edited so I can do it??

Use the Ini from Noldorwarriors.ini, then get it from elven warrior horde, then commandset, command buttons, attribute modifiers...

I will soon release mine, but im just fixing up Isildur then I release it...

Then you can download it and just put ; on the ring heros or change them back to galadriel and sauron and it will be bfme2 with noldor warriors.

Ok, thanks
I did most of the ini files, but I am missing the texture-model work. I mean I have the codes but not the skins-models and the animations(?)

the textures and models for the Noldor Warriors are already in the game, its just the artwork that isn't (weapon song, sound, button image and palantir.

Assuming that I have made my own button images. and the noldor texture is already somewhere in the texture files(I think I have found it).

What sould I do so I connect the code to the texture image, so the noldor would be playable in the game??

Sorry for using your topic, if there is a problem I shall make a new topic ;)

No problem but I don't fully understand you...

I think you are asking about command button...

CommandButton Command_ConstructNoldorWarriorHorde ; Added for BFME2 Expansion
Command = UNIT_BUILD
Object = NoldorWarriorHorde
Options = NEED_UPGRADE CANCELABLE
NeededUpgrade = Upgrade_ElvenBarracksLevel3
TextLabel = CONTROLBAR:ConstructNoldorWarriorHorde
ButtonImage = BEElvenBarracks_NoldorWarriorsIcon
ButtonBorderType = BUILD
DescriptLabel = CONTROLBAR:ToolTipBuildNoldorWarriorHorde
Radial = Yes
InPalantir = Yes
ShowProductionCount = Yes
End

As you see, OBJECT is what spawns it from the Barracks or building... I think that is what you are asking?

Can you post which ini files did you edit?
so I'll know if I miss something

Here is the problem
Posted Image

when I reach lvl 3 barracks(where the noldor are supposed to be created), the button disappears

you also need to create strings, you can find that in lotr.str...

Did you copy that button from my quote, it won't exist on your bfme2 since the texture doesn't exist.

I have zipped the asset.dat for you along with the portrait and button images...

http://www.2shared.c...no/goodies.html

art\compiledtextures\ex\expansion1icons_019.tga must go there

art\compiledtextures\up\upelven_noldorwarrior.tga must go there

you will need to go to the noldorwarrior.ini and horde.ini and change their palantir to upelven_noldorwarrior.tga...

In total I edited

asset.dat
lotr.str
noldorwarrior.ini (created)
elvenhordes.ini
attributemodifier.ini
commandbutton.ini
commandset.ini
experiencelevels.ini
gamedata.ini
music.ini
soundeffects.ini
specialpower.ini
upgrade.ini
weapon.ini
buildinggradialbuttons.ini
unitcommands.ini
unitportraits.ini
skirmishaidata.ini

need some help with my isildur ring hero... I did exactly the same with the balrog but the balrog appears ingame...

in playertemplates for faction men

BuildableRingHeroesMP = GondorIsildur_RingHero

in isildur

ChildObject GondorIsildur_RingHero GondorIsildur

; Player no longer has the ring hero upgrade when the hero is created.
Behavior = RemoveUpgradeUpgrade ModuleTag_RemoveRing
TriggeredBy = Upgrade_MenFaction
UpgradeToRemove = Upgrade_RingHero Upgrade_FortressRingHero
RemoveFromAllPlayerObjects = Yes
SuppressEvaEventForRemoval = Yes ; Hack -- this is to avoid the Eva event about 'Gollum stole our ring'
; when we are actually losing the upgrade because we built the ring hero
End

; Spawn a dropped ring object.
Behavior = CreateObjectDie ModuleTag_DropTheRing
CreationList = OCL_TheOneRing
End

Behavior = ExperienceLevelCreate ModuleTag_LevelBonus
LevelToGrant = 10
MPOnly = No
End
End

I also edited buildtime, cost ect so he's a ring hero... But for a test i also put him as a buildable hero under gondorisildur

I go into fortress and he's not buildable?
