then providences could be aqquired as starting forces on old cis planets to serve as decent starting cruisers.
munificents and banking clan frigates could be added as well to add a litttle long range punch to starting forces.
a mandater for the rebels or empire because the empire declared them obsolete so i could see the rebels trying to aquire some to bolster thier forces.
attes and atrts on kamino as surplus war materials
arquitens and consular class ships at corusant or something as part of initail fleet
hailfire, and spider droids as cis starting units
and corellian cruisers and battleships available as starting forces from corellia
quite a list i know but id just like to see some of them available but still they could be good to add and maybe if i get lucky some of them will be added

i would like to see lucrehulks as rebel battleships/carriers. they could be available to the rebels as starting forces or otherwise because a large number of them were sold to commercial sectors and as scrap so they could be aqquired by the rebels.

Providence class and Lucrehulk class as special starting forces/heroes (Gizor Dellso could use one or the other as an upgrade, Fortressa and Rebel One being other hero units)
Also I'd like to point out that for the Lucrehulk class to be presented porperly its compliment would have to be pretty low grade. Maybe mid level Z-95s, early-mid level wings, early to mid Starchasers. Maybe the earliest X-wings/R-22 Spearheads at higher levels. Fortressa had 500ish X-wings yes but they almost had to be prototype grade or very low quality for the Alliance to have gathered so many after just acquiring earlier.
All of New Class should be added eventually I feel but as of now there are units that can feel the same roles that the New Class vessels serve mainly.
The MC90 conflicts slightly with my write in, the Dauntless Class heavy cruiser. I’ve always liked the Dauntless for some reason. Doing a few rough calculations and estimations give it just a few more turbolasers than the MC90 and more Ion Cannons, but no evidence of Proton Torpedoes and fewer fighter. The Dauntless is a SoroSuub design, thus diversifying the Rebel/NR fleet slightly. Perhaps if it were eventually added (eviljeedi does have a model it looks like) it could be more combat focused with Power to Weapons rather than Power to Sheilds as seen in most Mon Cal designs. Also its “excellent sensors and countermeasure systems” could be represented by sensor pings or jamming respectively. There is a named Dauntless now and at least one is shown at the battle of Yag’Dhul (Vong war so after out time period, but still support for them in Canon)

if i recall correctly, Dellso had in his possession a Providence class Destroyer in Star Wars Battlefront 2.
wait a minute, a year or so after first getting the designs, Fortressa fielded over 500 X-wings. well, there is one way that could work. the Lucrehulk might be large enough for a small to mid-sized production facility, along with getting a few in every so often to bolster the line. when it comes down to it, the Lucrehulk was once a cargo ship, meaning that its got a LOT of room to work with.
Dauntless: the stats seem incomplete, although its likely that some basic extrapolations could be made. the ship was actually in Rebellion, so time period isnt a big issue
the New Class ships were designed to replace the motley assortment of ships the Alliance had cobbled together, so thats kinda the point of the program

I really want to see the big, Corellian ships, like the Corellian battleship, since the written EU seems to be hellbent on turning the Strident-class into a clone of the new TEGtW Viscount herself.
well, i think the Freeworlds mod for Freelancer might have something. if i recall, they made a CEC Frigate that isnt the CC-7700.
if at least an Image of the Strident surfaces, that would be a godsend

The good thing about the Republic for now is that it fits into TO and OSH, whereas the Nebula/Endurance could not be used in starting forces. We do have a problem with the rest of New Class if CTD continues to be the best source though.
Well, the buildable Recusant isn't the original model, but a heavily retrofitted one akin to the Dodonna. Many of the CIS holdouts are effectively early Rebels.
I won't worry about performance so much that we can no longer add new units.
I have the Dauntless at 52 heavy turbolasers and 52 turboions. That's a pretty reliable conversion from Rebellion.
I don't get that about the Strident, either. Actually, I was hoping Giel's ship was a Corellian battleship due to the command tower, but I guess it just predates the "terror styling" of later KDYs.

its a shame we barely saw the Republic-class.
Recusant: thats not a surprise, as the ship was originally built for a Droid army, not an organic one.
not gonna lie, i almost read that as " we cant add any new units, so dont worry about it."
Dauntless i have no issue with except that of stats for some of the other systems like shields and hull strength, speed, etc.
Strident: this is the only image ive seen for the strident. i have no idea where it comes from, i dont know if its even canon, and the stats on this site i know know if they woulf be acceptable. i have no idea how D-6 rules operate

That ship is commonly called a Corellian Destroyer, and its a fanon design, since there aren't any canon images, andrew1993. The Steiner Modding Group (SMG) had a lot of Corellian ships; I don't know if they created them, but they have proliferated the EaW/FoC modding community. The SMG Corellian ships are the Corellian Battlecruiser, the Corellian Destroyer, the Corellian Light Cruiser, the Corellian Frigate, and the Corellian Heavy Gunship.

That's a really nice Strident render, although I don't agree with the stats.

something has got to be wrong with this picture. hopefully the dimensions of the ships are simply wrong, and the ship is actually a good deal larger than its current stats. if that is the case, the stats are more forgivable.

Also, if someone could come up with a new design for it, the Warrior-class Gunship would also be a good addition to Shadow Hand, being another New Class vessel and could be a good replacement to the CR90 and DP20 in this campaign.
