What about my idea of an expansion?
The Battle for Middle Earth II: The End of the Third Age
This expansion for BFMEII:ROTWK, a kind of sequel to ROTWK, will include a brand new faction and a new campaign. The faction will be Arnor, where the descendants of the Dúnedain look after the Hobbits. During those days the Nazgul invade the Shire. That’s where the story begins. We’ll follow Halbarad, Elrohir and Elladan with the Grey Company on their quest to Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. Then they’ll travel with the three to the paths of the dead and so on.
I thought about it, as a new good faction will balance te game I think. An ancient Arnor faction would be too much Gondor with some Númenorean guys randomly walking around.
EDIT: I studied the codes in BFME a bit and I know quite a bit about it now.

Sounds interesting, I'd like to see where that goes if you make it

If you're going to create a Third Age Arnor/Eriador/Dúnedain faction, I have some assets you might find useful. Some structures, units, etc. Let me know.

Sounds great, show me what you got! I'm thinking about the subfaction, maybe hobbits.
For the other factions maybe minor additions, or hidden BFME1 units. I'm really desperate for dwarf riders, but horses don't fit to them. Then I found this picture from Armies of the Third Age: http://www.desktopas...e-1680x1050.jpg
The fortress is another thing I think about. Maybe a wooden/Dúnedain camp style fortress?
I also thought about, yeah I think a lot, is a new CaH subclass: Hero of the West -> Ranger. A class that mixes the qualities of men and elves. The main CaH for Arnor could be Elegost, to go on in the tradition (only Eaoden missing, but maybe later ).

Long time no see, but I'm here again with new palantirs.
I'd also like to know how many people are interested in a new stand-alone BFME III The age of The Hobbit edition. This could have 4 factions: Dwarves, Elves, Men, Orcs. I know there are mods who implement the Hobbit, like Edain mod, but a stand-alone game would be more appreciated I think.

I do, when possible. As I indicated in my post above, I preferably work for a stand-alone BFME III (Age of The Hobbit) edition, based on the ROTWK edition. I can do more of these palantir images, but I can do more; for instance texturing, but for now I didn't really practise for that. I don't know whether anyone is doing this stand-alone age of the Hobbit idea and if not, we may open a new mod.

This is my first logo art for the Battle of Five Armies (not perfect, but purely for the impression).
I am still looking for people interested in joining the project regarding a The Hobbit version of LOTR's BFME, called The Battle of Five Armies (BOFA). I am looking for all kind of modders who want to help. For now so many people are showing off their creations of The Hobbit heroes, but little is implemented in fitting mods (I wonder whether there is actually one). If we could bundle the powers and make a community edition, that'd be perfect. Please respond here when you are interested.

Perhaps a little late to the game, but I give respect where it is due, and these are some of the best portraits I've seen in a long time. I'm not sure what your reference pictures were, or if they have been used before. All I know is these look spot on, perfect. Kudos to you man! You nailed BFME2 style portraits with this batch.
One thing to note though, Clean up the dwarf one a bit.. Too much background, not enough parchment. It stands out big time compared to the others..

Good to know, but still I think that these are absolutely fantastic portraits regardless of the source.
