Haha, alright, I just hope that didn't come across as pretentious.

By September I could possibly help Mordor Slayer with marketing. (But I am happy with any arrangement) We will have quite a few maps and definitely the Goblins to showcase by then - in the Goblin Town map. ;D

EDIT: And NJM has made some brilliant Moria maps so we can have a visual bonanza.

You know I'm always up for beta testing, all I'm wondering is what exactly is the reason for this "SVN" now as apposed to previous beta's.  And you probably guessed it, but I have no idea what SVN is or what it's used for.  But I do have to the time to learn it if it's absolutely essential.

I suggest to start by googling what SVN client is ;)

Without knowing what the SVN client is and how it works, all future SEE beta testers would have an outdated version of SEE on their PC in one day. The SVN essentially allows us to have the beta testers test the most recent working copy ASAP, as we don't have to release a 'private' beta each time something minor is edited. You just update SEE on your PC through the SVN client.

So do as Nazgûl said, and go google what SVN client is. :thumbsuphappy:

Yeah exactly. You MUST use this, in order to beta test SEE, for the reasons RB stated.

Basically, as far as I recall:

1. You download SVN.

2. You log in\create an account with info provided by Nazgul\SEE.

3. You set it to download updates automatically.

4. Everytime Nazgul or someone else uploads their things to the SVN, your copy will be updated automatically. You'll always have the most recent build.

5. ???

6. Profit

If Naz or someone else wants to announce it everytime they update it or not is up to them, but you won't really have to worry about having the most recent beta or not, because you always do. And it updates itself automatically. You can choose that, if I recall, so you can choose to update it manually too.
