FutureTech Corporation / Syndicate (Full faction)
Leader:Rupert Thornley

Backstory: Said to be the rival to Kanegawa Industries, MassiveSoft Computing, Apricot Inc, and many other technology industries, The FutureTech Corporation's status can only be described as "on the top of the world." Their creations has the power to twist chemistry, physics, and any other sciences at their favor. For example, one of their tanks can either speed up or slow down the passage of time of their allies and enemies.

Led by a group of brilliant tacticians, inventors, scientists, engineers, and troopers, FutureTech has worked side-by-side with the Allied Forces for many years now. In fact, as it was said, "Finding a piece of Allied Technology that is NOT inspired, nor suggested by the FutureTech is like finding bacon that does not come from pork."

Their alliance came to an end, when information was leaked that the Thornley, is indeed corrupt, and FutureTech is actually a science-supported syndicate. They even support various criminal organizations, such as the Mafia, the Yakuzas and the Triads by helping with their operations and supplying them with their technology. (They even get to be hired to be soldiers and vehicle operators)

TL;DR The FutureTech is actually a syndicate designed to push science forward, and make money process.

If China is the mighty glacier of the subfactipns, then the FutureTech is glass cannon of them.
(China=Slow but Powerful)
(FutureTech=Powerful but Squishy)
Characteristics:
Technological advancement (Massive Hadron Collider for a Superweapon,
Breaking the laws of physics, chemistry and other sciences (Entropy Supervehicles, Aeon Tracks, Tachyon Troopers, anyone?)
Can'be considered to be "balanced game-breaking."
Commando: Darwin (think of him as female Yunru since they're both teenagers, this time he can:
Time-freeze unit in a radius, even aircraft (they won't fall from the sky)
Just like Tachyon Troopers, can be deployed to be bombarded by tachyons, making him extremely fast when running away
Against structures, he targets them like how Morales does, just replaces "MiGs" with "a laser from an Athena satellite."
Just like Siegfried, he does not die. Unlike Siegfried, Darwin shifts himself to another dimension to take a break.

No RA3 backstory, pls.

Will the feature to have 'light' super weapons be brought back? Every time I've played with Super Weapons it seems everyone goes for the destructive Super Weapons. I just think it'd be interesting to be able to separate the light super weapons & the destructive ones.

FutureTech Corporation / Syndicate (Full faction)
Leader:Rupert Thornley

The Allies already have the Kanegawa and Steinstech. Another major company for the Allies seens to be a overuse of an idea.

They're not working for the Allies (in the Mental Omega universe, at least).

I forgot to mention, the Allies have long cut off all ties with them after the shocking reveal, and declared war on the FutureTech.

First time I heard that a country officially declares war on a non-government organization that is not called "Terror". :p

A Glass Cannon subfaction is interesting though, since we don't really have that kind of personality among the 9 we have. :)

Isn't PsiCorps kinda like that? It seems like to be a faction with a lot of quirky units with powerful attacks but little armor to me... I've been having some ideas for factions too (three whole factions, but still working on them when I can spare the time), and the "glass cannon" was also considered, but I thought that PsiCorps is already that.

Actually, this is a sub-concept.

PsiCorps focuses on psychic powers, while the FutureTech syndicate focuses cold, hard science.

(BTW, I don't see any PsiCorps units that can control time, mass, entropy, etc.)

1) HERP DERP little bronie. He is talking about strategy and way which units are used. The Marauder is a good exemple of Glass Cannon.

2) If you want Futuretech for the "HUE FORZ SCIENCEZ" faction, I´m pretty sure that Euro, HQ and somewhat China are already taking that slot.

YunruTech. Maker of the Hammer Defence now operating in over 9000 bases worldwide. Portable Hammers on limited offer! Exclusive members get to try out the more powerful Earthbreaker. :p

LibraTech boasts a wide array of psychic inventions, including levitating shoes, homing darts and lava floors. We also exhibit cultural graciousness by having our members politely request for permission to kill.

Don't mind me, just doing sciencez. :p

Marauder doesn't really give a lot of damage to make it a glass cannon. I feel it's somewhere between that and a Fragile Speedster.

In the future release, will there be an actual addition of sub factions, +1 for each army to make MO3 4ep,4sv,4al overall?

Or just addition of few new units for the existing sub faction : P

1. Lovalmidas got a point, the Marauder doesn't deal high damage in anything that's not armos.
2. Europe, HQ and China for me are mostly defensive subfactions. But FutureTech is kinda more offensive and faster than these three glaciers

There may or may not be a 4th Side.

Only 3 Sub-Factions are planned currently.

I don't want to disappoint you, but Marauder deals relatively good damage to infantry as an anti-armor unit. :p

Oh, there's already 3 new subfactions planned? That's kind of a bummer. Well, I'll still post my suggestions, once it is ready. I have to say, that the current 9 really covers a lot of strategies possible in the game, so it's hard to come up with anything new.

Kraken Capital Cruiser (Unique to HQ) (rework of my suggestion)
Cost:2350$
Speed:3
Hitpoints:1025
Armor:Heavy
Prerequisite: Epsilon Naval Shipyard, Pandora Hub
Purpose: Naval Assault, Siege
Weapons: Harpy Marking Laser, Harpy Drones (x6)
Range:25

The Headquarters consider themselves to be "one step ahead" of Epsilon technology, to the point they planned to replace their faction's own naval ace Resheph with watercraft of their own. When some HQ engineers brought up different plans for a battleship, the research division decided to combine the best features of each. But the research devision was also not content with the results. It was a coincidence that an Epsilon engineer designed a blueprint for a small aerial drone that can fire plasma spheres, which are intended to be used in large numbers. The Headquarters immediately seized the plans and incorporated them into the ship. A ship that can bring forth a laser, which guides the Harpy Drones (that seemingly come out nowhere surrounding the unfortunate targets) to circle their enemies and decimate them with their plasma spheres.

TL;DR A Headquarters ship that can spawn 7 Drones.

Harpy Drone: Circles around that target, firing plasma.
Hitpoints:50

Is it possible to have units like the Hackers from Generals? (Make sure they're balanced, though. Preferably for China or FutureTech)

Yes, the Emperor Tank. I think that won't return because it would be easy to build defense structures to your enemy's base with it.
