Okay so I checked the tournament section and one specific paragraph was highlighted for me.

We like to focus on the fun for this tournament. "The important thing is not to win, but to take part".

That means if you lose, you're not in it. For that reason a round robin would be the best option? Every weekend friday to sunday, have an official tournament match?

Yep but a format that is favourable for the majority of players would be good, say have a slow tournament and every weekend have an official match? during the week if anyone is on they'll be able 2 practice together?

So the premise is set out? ICT's idea of selecting teams from the list of online players is pretty cool, it poses a few problems though.

What was the layout of the other two tournaments you guys ran? And how was it in terms of people turning up to play at the right time?

again, my thoughts are mine, the suggestion was purely as a community based thing with that in mind, I assume you guys are supporting the idea?
