Update 3.3.4:

+ Added new defensive building for the Latin Confederation: "Kirov Tower"

+ Added new support power for the Latin Confederation: "Kirov Gunship"

 * Summons a custom-built Kirov that makes passes over its target at supersonic speeds and shoots nuclear-incendiary-Tesla artillery shells at ground targets. When the Kirov Gunship is destroyed the full fury of the Confederation is unleashed, turning EVERY unit belonging to the LC player into undead Moraleses riding Syckles.

- nerf: Apocalypse anti-aircraft weapon effectiveness decreased by 15-20%
+ buff: Grumble anti-aircraft weapon effectiveness increased by 25-30%, 
range increased from 25 to 26

 

So now it will 1 shot kill Barracudas, right?

 

 

Well, as sad as I am for Apoc nerfs, maybe it is for the best - as for Grumble buff that was very needed :p

 

To be fair, a nerf of 15-20% isn't crushingly bad considering just how powerful the Apocalypse AA is. It will still shred through aircraft.

With all the (rightful) whining about Foehn, I can foresee mental Omega's lifecycle. Right now it seems very similar to Yuri's Revenge. A faction that is based on niche technologies, and has very expensive but elite units, has map control handed over to them on a silver plate...Sooner or later, I think Foehn will receive the Epsilon treatment. But it took three iterations of Mental Omega to make Epsilon the truly unique but still balanced faction that it is. I wonder how much Foehn will resemble its original self when it will be balanced properly?

 

Can't wait for Insane Gamma: Almost Perfect Mental Omega mod, that by its third release will finally have the Foehn balanced, but adds a fifth side that's completely OP.

 

And don't forget about Delirious Epsilon, when we'll come full circle and Epsilon will be OP as the dickens again.

I mean, I don't think the words "overuse" and "underuse" are really fitting here.

Overused implies a unit is more popular than it should be, and underused implies a unit is not getting the attention it deserves.

His Name Lasted Longer Than Irkalla Against That Allied Thing.

 

 

Allied thing A.K.A. the Paradox Engine. The result of many people asking for an Allied Super Unit. XD 

 

Certainly impressive though; I'm not really sure though how the Paradox Engine could one hit KO the Irkalla, of all things. That's what I wanna know. 

 

When you're able to stop time, you can take down flying fortresses with something as weak as a knife.

It would take some time, but you've got all the time.
