Hey all!

It's time for a new beta for you all! :p
This time around, much has been done to the mod... In addition to Gondor, Rhun are considered done, which means you can do head on battles with two complete factions! For the record, I'd say that Rohan is above 60%, if not 70%! A couple of heroes and a single unit missing, that's all... Means it's playable, but lacks heroes to lead them.. but spam units and that shouldn't be a problem :D

Go here to access the download page, or click here for a direct download.

I hope you'll enjoy the beta, and I really hope you won't forget two important things about it;
Report bugs here
Suggest suggestions here

And of course, if for some reason you can't get it to work, simply post in this thread, and I'll help you as good as I can :mad2:

Anyways, that's it folks! Again, I hope you enjoy it, as it's my Christmas present to you all, even if you don't celebrate! ;)

Well, I downloaded it and installed it, and then it said it had an error parsing a field or something like that and had to close down. I can't start it up. Bugger.

as I said in the other topic, you have the patch, right? ;)

Anyways, please go to the Beta help thread, as I don't want to fill up these two topics with helping you out :p

awesome - i downloaded a little while ago and im glad uve sorted out rhun and the kingdom of gondor and rohan units, although u can still get the gondor units without having the spell.

harad i see still arent done, but are ncie to fight against as AI, also i recommend swapping rhuns new tier one power with the "necromancer's mist", as you wont really use the new power early on in the game.

just to add to the point above, does the new power negate or only give resistance to what it's supposed to? (i dont wanna give away what it does unless u don't mind now ;) )

well all in all, good job, i look forward to when harad have a major rework (and heroes!)

Harad doesn't really need rework, they need work :p

The new Rhun power only gives your units resistance to fear, doesn't do anything to the enemy units ;) (However, I could perhaps do something about that... to make it more powerful and useful..)

Necromancer's mist is to powerful to be made a tier one power. I really reduces the enemy's armor and attack, as well as speed, and will really help out your troops ;) (then again, that's what it should do... I might've forgotten to add some of it.. ;))

This is awesome but there's still little things:
1. Rhun units (Espicially spearmen) are underpowered. They do less dmg than orcs. Rhun Ai does only create Spearmen and Swordsmen.

2.Rohan AI does only create militia and ents.

But thanks for beta anyway!

OMG Awesome Lauri! FInished downloading already >;) only 1 minute heehee.
Ill report when I've played it! Thanks so much for the :christmas present: :p I love early gifts hehe.
After all this time, I decided I'd start playing BFME 2 again; after all, it's one of the few games I keep coming back to.....even three-four years after it was made.....
Anyway, my computer has been upgraded; it's just a graphics card, but it's a HD Radeon 4870. How's that for gaming love? I can run Crysis on high at 60fps, maybe at highest (I haven't checked) and the rest of my computer is still actually pretty good; so I'm happy.

Anarchy is so stupid......see IM A REBEL!

Im a lover of footy now, and I can't wait to watch Jarryd Hayne the superhuman and Fuifui Moimoi the tongan bulldozer play in the Four Nations cup. WOOT Hindmarsh is gonna play for Australia now, even with a broken shoulder! Woot he's crazy.

Aye, there hasn't been much done to the AI since last time either... (like building Lumber Mills instead of farms) I would expect the AI to build all the units though, as their all in the AI code... I did notice myself though, that they didn't build much units besides swordmen, spearmen and catapults...

Rohan AI should build dwarves too... ;) nothing else is added though..

Yes, the mod is not a balanced mod... It would probably have been more proper if the Rhun AI actually made all the units it should make, but who knows.. Spearmen will get better :p

Ok; I love it. I noticed Rhun only producing swordsmen and spearmen, but oh well; everything else is A-okay in my view, as least in terms of the finished stuff. It's really good quality; great work Lauri! I look forward to playing it more ;)

Seeing as I'm currently running Linux and can't be arsed to boot Windows, reinstall BFME, repatch BFME, download T4A, install T4A and play it, I think it would only be fair if you made some kick-ass screenshots of the new version for me to watch ;)

I just had a quick game playing Rhun.
I like the button images.
Some of the Heroes are a bit over priced for what they do.

I look foward to seeing this mod at 100%...
sno now I better get back to work on getting my own beta ready :p

The new Rhun power only gives your units resistance to fear, doesn't do anything to the enemy units :p (However, I could perhaps do something about that... to make it more powerful and useful..)

i think that's what'll be needed, as when would the fear really kick in against a good faction until either they get something like ents (which scare the lumber gatherers) or cloud break, which is a tier 3 power (i think)

Necromancer's mist is to powerful to be made a tier one power. I really reduces the enemy's armor and attack, as well as speed, and will really help out your troops ;) (then again, that's what it should do... I might've forgotten to add some of it.. :))

yea, no offence, but i didnt really think that it did anything and made the game lag too much for me ;) it mighta weakened em, but i found it was over too quick and i had to scroll away from the FX before they lagged me game (i love the idea though, like an enshrouding mist type spell with speed reduction instead of cloaking :p )

also, i think you mentioned a "shadow of the east" spell for "sameel", but he doesnt seem to have it (have you built it in as normal stealth or is it still a WIP?)

hope to be hearing from you soon :p
